I love the speedy turn around
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to increase the listening speed. I’m able to get through a lot of responses very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s hard to discern if its a representative sample. Sometimes I wonder if its too skewed towards a certain demographic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to understand user needs and behavior.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is pretty good at being able to supply people to test. You can also get some custom support where they will help with facilitation and scripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating the product is sometimes challenging. Wish there was more support for summaries of findings. Watching all the videos takes a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to see if users understand our designs and what we are trying to communicate. Seeing if there are experience issues with the product.

What do you like best about the product?
it's very fast to collect feedback. it also gives you a lot of different possibilities to reach your customers and ask for their opinion using different devices and reaching them in a lot of situations. it also seems that their panel of users is quite wide: we were able to find a good amount of users also searching for people with very specific characteristics.
What do you dislike about the product?
it cannot manage the audience dynamically: the final user should be allowed to input all the criteria for recruiting and provide general rules for the sampling, and the system should allocate users in the sample dynamically. also the support is not always fast in replying, and sometimes the same issue jumps from one person to a new one, and they give different answer to the same question
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it strongly reduced the time to get feedback. it allows you to reach your customers all around the world from your desk. also some people that were skeptic at the beginning about switching from traditional in-person interviews really appreciated the possibility to use a tool that really speeds up the whole process and allows to reach a lot of different consumers in such an easy way

you simply start focussing on your real job: doing research

I wish eye tracking capability was offered.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the idea. It is very useful for me at work to see user insight on certain product features or website logics. Also, I use it as a user and review websites/products myself which makes me understand what is the market standard for certain features/logics
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I cannot get an automated transcript of the videos. I have to analyse the data for each test we have and I think it would be brilliant if you would give automatic transcripts or templates for analysing data.

My problem is that I cannot get user insight easily and in a timely fashion.

Very important the data analysis part of the User Testing, try to build in that direction and you will be amazing.
Another feedback would be the pool of users: i do not always get the users that are typical for my website because people try to trick the requirements so they get in the test and make more money. I would suggest you making an automated way to find out who is not a target while being in the test. I am not sure how this can be done, but will solve a lot for organisations that spend time in analysing the data.
Also, 5 users is a bit low, you should try to increase this number...

The same sorts of participants often get selected (eg. tech early adopters)

We wish they offered a pricing model that was based on a price per test, or pay as you go.

UserTesting has made it possible for so many of us to gain real, actionable customer insights in rapid fashion. It's changing our culture of making product strategy and design decisions. What used to cost hours and dollars in recruiting, travel, and interpretation is now done in a fraction of the time. We can easily share our new insights with many team members.
