Incredibly fast study responses
What do you like best about the product?
Good for gathering qualitative insights quickly. Recruiting is super fast and it's easy to edit studies and screeners. Video marking, clipping and commenting features have been awesome as we decide what clips to cut for reporting findings, and the quality of videos is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Watching all the videos to gather insights can be time-consuming, but that's no fault of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've found the most benefit using the tool to get feedback on InVision prototypes to identify watch-outs before development, or check if a live experience is being used as expected. Since a picture is worth 1000 words, cutting video clips of participant feedback has helped product teams really understand what using our experiences is like for customers, and enabled high impact decision making. It's hard to refute a video of multiple real customers experiencing the same issue!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of customer support
A solid platform for user and usability testing
What do you like best about the product?
Good recruitment tools and simple to run quick tests
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a good tool for interactive / moderated testing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it's a great platform for getting rapid feedback on usability and overall value of new products features. When you have a clear set of questions that can be answered through unmoderated, self-guided experiences, it's the simplest and best solution
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think through your needs for user research before selecting UserTesting versus another product like Lookback. UserTesting is a very good solution for rapid-tempo, asynchronous testing. Other platforms are better for really deep usability research that requires real-time interaction.
TImely, relevant, and customizable
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of getting a test out there in a few minutes for quick answers with Product Insight, but I absolutely love the powerful customizable aspects of creating your own. The ease with which we can test with a variety of users and, how conscientious these testers while providing feedback that is honest, accurate is something I appreciate with the UserTesting Platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Some clunkiness in how you can scale tests and combining results across different tests due to some of the test setup limitations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Experience and usability of various digital assets, messaging, tonality and resonance
Priceless feedback
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and how simple it is to set up
What do you dislike about the product?
Drafts and folder nesting can get quite confusing if you're not careful where to look
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design validation and almost instant customer feedback. The video format is great for us to always be able to refer back to, to fix bugs or spin others up on the context.
Product design manager
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly get a wide range of users to verify my hypothesis and UX patterns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the users we've had in the past have either not read the instructions, breezed through the prototype, or not really stay focused on the subject at hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, it gives us the ability to verify our hypothesis when it comes to certain design or ux patterns. It's a lot cheaper and quicker to throw a prototype together, test it against "real" users, and then take that data to either make changes (if necessary) or move towards production.
Easy and simple to use
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how simply to create a prototype and be able to share the link directly to shareholders.
The process is easy and quick, having your questions ready and set the information correctly.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I am able to capture the videos in clips directly from usertesting.com and share features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to solve one of the redesign projects from eBay and the user's feedback is straightforward.
Best tool for remote user test out there
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to set up a test and gather quick feedback. Plus the team behind it is just amazing. If I ever need any help I know they will help very quickly and as well happy to do so.
I also feel like I have a very good relationship with our customer success manager - she is amazing, always keeping in touch and making sure we make the most out of the tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
I guess the only thing I dislike is mainly around participants and how sometimes a few participants are too “professional” by this I mean that participants don’t really give their feedback but just say what they expect that you want to hear - obviously not much usertesting can do there. But other than that love it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am one of two researchers for a big telecoms company and usertesting.com helps me bring quick feedback to the table. I am solving different problems from how we present customers their bills, how they can issue payments, track their order, upgrades or hardware purchases, reschedule engineer appointments and/or communications.
I have thanks to usertesting.com brought very valuable insight that helped our team improve the nps score of our bill and payment mobile app by almost 50 points!

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make the most of your platform by hearing it your customer success manager, they will be able to guide you and share different case studies that will help you set up better tests.
Best in Industry for UX Testing
What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to see a UX based platform take UX to heart and actually make their platform intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a whole lot that the team has voiced to me that they are unhappy with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is used heavily by our UX team to test websites, apps, and various other things for our clients.

Great access to immediate feedback
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of UserTesting is immediate feedback. It is a great way to engage with your customers, test prototypes, and get responses in less than an hour. As a UX researcher, it is an outstanding way to test (and test often). The ability to watch participants navigate your prototype or website via video is invaluable - this qualitative data can be used over and over again and analyzed for a multitude of behaviors. I highly recommend UserTesting for qualitative research methods.
What do you dislike about the product?
UserTesting is a qualitative tool. I do have to use other tools for my quantitative methodologies. I would love to see more quantitative abilities within UserTesting, for example - the ability to send out just a survey to your panel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use UserTesting to find pain points within our business's website. It is an excellent way to just watch people run through your site in real time. For example, we noticed one speicfic page had an incredibly low NPS score even though it was recently updated. By utilizing participants in UserTesting I was able to discover that the reasons that page was performing so poorly was because one of our auto-fill plug-ins was not always functioning properly.
