The ability to collect specific product feedback that helps uncover usability issues fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users can get completely off track, and the test becomes useless. for that reason I run pilot tests before setting out large studies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helps get a good outside-in view on the user experience, in a way that helps observe defects in our production environments.

Easier to test with a wide variety of people
What do you like best about the product?
UserTesting allows us to easily and quickly test with a wide variety of people. The test results and highlight videos can be easily shared. Insights come more quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not cheap, but the insights end up saving money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
UserTesting has helped us to run more tests with more people earlier in the design and development cycle. This helps us to develop mobile and web solutions that are more likely to meet the needs of our users.
UserTesting allowed me to truly empathize with my team's users.
What do you like best about the product?
UserTesting can identify possible pain points throughout my team's website development. UserTesting also can select a specific demographic. The feedback we receive allows us to better empathize with our users. I love that UserTesting makes it easy to generate questions to ask our users. Its ability to enable us to digest user feedbacks and responses to the problem allows us to organize better and prioritize high priority adjustments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, a user might not match the demographic selected, but on the other end, this could be because our team might not fully understand our demographic. It might be helpful to provide more in-depth information about the demographics we select. I feel that UserTesting is a little pricy, but I am also a college student. If this were from an organization's credit card, I could see this sounding more affordable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are determining how long it takes for a user to digest content on the website. User testing allows us to see if they would start or leave the page at any point during the test. The find the most significant benefit of UsetTesting is that it gives student's the ability to receive real industry experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

UserTesting helps our product team get real insights, fast
What do you like best about the product?
As the lead designer and researcher on my product team, UserTesting has made it easy for me to quickly set up both user interviews and usability tests. This has been transformative in the way that our team makes decisions and tackles user and business problems. Typically within a few hours of setting up a user test, I have actionable insights and can feel more confident about my ultimate design decisions. Also, UserTesting provides access to tons relevant users that might actually use my product, that I would never be able to find on my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wonder about the pool of users that UserTesting provides. I haven't had any issues with users specifically, but I have to assume that most of them are already fairly "tech-friendly," and might not be as representative of an average user out in the wild.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With UserTesting, I am able to take the guesswork out of design. From very lo-fi prototypes to a finished product, testing along the way, early and often, vastly improves the chance that our team and our product will succeed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try ~ test 5 users and see what insights you can glean.
Works very well and easily gets us what we need!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how they find quality testers for you meeting our criteria.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feedback on design concepts. We've been able to make more informed decisions about what we nix or what we need more work on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot—I think you'll be satisfied!
A great resource for fast feedback on concepts from users
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to quickly test a concept. The methods are very flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I was able to include specific testers in a pool that I could call on again. I would especially like being able to invite my own, known customers to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team validates user flows with UserTesting. We've been able to answer questions about usability that wound up saving us development time because a simple prototype was able to engage users and help us solve problems.
Another use-case for us is testing terminology. We're able to quickly get from users what they actually think about specific terms in context. Very valuable.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn about best practices. There's a science to conducting good tests. Make sure your finger is not on the scale and you'll end up with usable data.
