We're really happy with the technology and service we get with TD.
What do you like best about the product?
We appreciate TD most for being tech-agnostic. Haven't found an application or martech platform we couldn't integrate.
What do you dislike about the product?
We used to have a customer success engineer dedicated to our account who was really helpful with new integrations and enhancements. Pricing structure has changed now and we'd have to commit to a minimum of 20/hrs of professional services a month, which is overkill for us, or use a 3rd party shop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TD gives a clean view of all our customers and their historical record with our business. "One ID number per customer" isn't as easy as importing everything into a traditional CRM or database. Good data = easy business intelligence. It also automates/scales personalized messaging across our marketing channels.

Test before you buy. Every business is different.

I get impatient waiting for new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving us a view of customers' activity helps us know that marketing is working, not working, etc.
Treasure Data is flexible, plug-and-play, and allows us to see and deliver results fast!
What do you like best about the product?
Customer service is amazing! We love working with the Treasure Data engineers and they are hands-on. Additionally, being about to plug the sources, and be able to see the data right away, without having to fit any mold is the best. It lets us make decisions fast, and course-correct later. It lets us be agile and meet the business needs first.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of any downsides. If there is a feature missing, it is already on their road map. If there is a connector missing, we can program our workflow to ingest the data. We have not hit any roadblocks in our plans from the Treasure Data side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the ability to centralize the customer data, and build a full view profile of our customers. Having the ability to enrich our data and use it for personalization.
The platform is great, with a good support and good security, it solves the requirements needed.

The Platform presents a great interactive interface for non development users.

The platform lacks a lot to support new features and requests based on businees requirements.

We use Treasure Data as the Single Source of True of our Consumer Data Base.
A very robust platform to work as the heart of your the Martech stack
What do you like best about the product?
CDP Treasure Data is a very intuitive platform, robust and customizable. Besides this, the Technical team is very supportive as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing is the limited number of running jobs at the same time, which can impact high data volume environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing questions and mass activation initiatives and the benefits are the large scales workability, easy integrations that decrease working hours from all teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As Treasure Data CDP is very customizable, always contract the Technical Account Manager and Customer Success Manager services to work besides with your team.
Treasure Data makes customer segmentation and activation manageable and scalable for our clientele.
What do you like best about the product?
For me, the best part of Treasure Data is the solution's flexibility. The platform does an excellent job blending a marketer-friendly UI with a powerful backend for engineers. The automation of data ingestion pipelines is one of the most challenging tasks that I regularly face in this industry due to the variance in the technical capacity of various data collection partners and providers. Treasure Data workflows have consistently given us the ability to flex our ingestion methodology to get the most granular and fresh data possible, no matter how the root data is captured or stored.
When it comes to User management and access, I've found that Treasure Data's 'Policies' feature is very intuitive and simple to build out compared to similar cloud-based platforms. I have not encountered a level of access that cannot be easily configured using this system for access provision. 'Policies' don't only address access to general areas of the platform, but also allow for the control of access to PII within the various layers, which is an extremely helpful feature when scaling across a large organization.
The documentation and customer support has been excellent and above average compared to other vendors within this industry.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are a number of features that are available via the command line integration and workflows that are not easily accessible via the UI. That said, I have found this isn't an issue as long as tasks are logically distributed amongst technical and non-technical users. Also, it's very clear that Treasure Data is regularly making progress to make the experience in the UI align more directly to what's occuring on the backend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Treasure Data is helping our clients solve for siloed 1P data sources and the lack of scalable activation use cases for this data. For those companies with multiple brands and/or multiple markets, Treasure Data is enabling a total-org view of data that has been almost impossible to accomplish with other more generic data warehousing tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Analytics features. Machine Learning modeling and the treasure boxes open up a lot of possibilities. Segmentation is very easy and intiuitive. Can make nested segments which is a better offering than some other CDPs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be difficult to use the query feature and create workflows and does require technical expertise to be able to write SQL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a single guest view from a client's data set. Being able to action a clients use cases by intelligently targetting segments.

What do you like best about the product?
Marketers I work with Have loved working in TD. The platform is intuitive and fast. ML capabilities are well put together, being both transparent and customizable even for the OOTB version, meaning marketers can build them out with a bit of trainig.
Implementation teams have all reported back to me on an excellent design in the back-end, making the setup process smooth, leading to a great end product.
Finally, the support teams have been exceptional to work with throughout, and regularly delivered above expectations to make the product deliver

What do you dislike about the product?
The v4 UI was challenging for some of the less-advanced marketers; however, the comprehensive training dealt with that, and the v5 upgrade pretty much alleviated all the challenging aspects here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unifying some pretty complex and enormous data sets. We've also ingested some custom models and made them available for marketers at a very good scale.
