Great product with awesome support and continuous innovation
What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch helps us leverage insights from our data warehouse in a scalable manner to the platforms that our business relies upon for growth and business success. It helps us to become extremely more data driven, and empower business analysts to drive data integrations while freeing up valuable time of our data engineers.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved is error monitoring and debugging. When an error goes wrong in a Hightouch sync, sometimes it can be hard to tell what went wrong or why the destination did not accept the data you sent it. More effort here would make Hightouch's core components and beneficial properties shine more since the debugging does take away from that. Some of it is not Hightouch's fault since the platforms (Google, FB, etc.) themselves do not give great error messages, but more dedicated effort to increase the efficacy of the in-house debugging would be awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch is allowing folks in our business to be empowered to leverage their knowledge of the cloud warehouse to power marketing tools, and build models that drive business growth beyond what we were able to do before and with less resources. Data engineers having their time freed up leads to more impactful data work getting done instead of simply maintaining pipelines.

Hightouch Freeing up time to better engineering
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to instantly free up time to do more impactful analytics engineering work that would need to be used writing tedious software otherwise.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't too much that I dislike about the product. I think the price is fair but I do wish I could call if from a python client rather than having to interact with the REST API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch helps me primarily wth the problems that it aims to solve which is reverse ETL. We get data from BigQuery to our CRM in Airtable and works great for our use case. Given the small size of our insights team in the platform mission we couldn't do this otherwise.
Easy to use and solved all of our data-sharing issues across all of our platforms
What do you like best about the product?
We have been looking for a tool for a long time that allows us to send user-level data to all of our different tools in real-time. Our previous solution was highly resource-intensive and would take multiple days for engineers to send just one user-level attribute. Hightouch solves this, and we no longer need to use any backend resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the integrations don't feel like they are fully established yet and required a bit of troubleshooting before getting it to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to send user-level data that changes often in real-time to all of our third-party tools so we can better target communications and experiences for our users.
A game changer for data activation
What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch is a super flexible solution for activation of the data that you already store in your data warehouse. Taking out all the burden of maintaining APIs, it allows you to just write SQL (or use dbt models <3) to extract the right user or events data and put it to whatever tool you want. Using it mostly for martech / MarOps cases for EVE Online it literally helped us to reduce time to activate a new custom audience across all our marketing tools and advertising platforms from days to minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a proper data collection and warehousing setup, so might not be the best choice for organizations without mature processes around data topics. It's not really a bug, but a feature, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Activating user data stored in our data warehouse to create custom user segments used across multiple marketing automation tools and advertising platforms
Great product, makes it easy to activate data
What do you like best about the product?
The sync'ing works really well to get data into my destinations. I used to have to write custom python scripts to write to Salesforce and Hubspot, along with all the weird complexities of finding diffs and handling auth/retries. Hightouch handles all of that for me, freeing me up to work on more high-impact work. I also like that my business users can come in and make small changes as they change their minds on various filters/fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be a little more polished. Sometimes it can take a little while for it to refresh the screen. I think the sync debugger is kind of hard to parse, would be great if they spent some more time cleaning that up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me unlock the power of the data in my warehouse so that I can create more personalized workflows throughout my ops. I use Hightouch to sync app-level data into Salesforce so my sales teams have better insights into their accounts, and I also use it to personalize emails based on user activity.
Solid platform with responsive product team
What do you like best about the product?
Easy plug and play with or tech and media stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's room to improve the ease of implementation of some features, particularly audiences vs models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automatically syncing audiences across all our media ecosystems.
Using HighTouch to represent data from DB star schema
What do you like best about the product?
1) Large number of ready-to-use destinations (Facebook Custom Audience, SalesForce, Tiktok etc)
2) Useful extensions like Areting to Slack in case of failures
3) Support for most of the existing DB services (Snowflake, PG etc)
4) Continious process of adding new useful features, like Traits, Sync Logging to DWH
5) Continuous process of adding new destinations
6) Great support

What do you dislike about the product?
No critical remarks. Makes it possible to configure segmentation for both users with knowledge of SQL and without knowledge
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HighTouch provides a lot of ready-ot-used destinations + provides possibility to track data that was sent to those destinations (/syncs/{sync_id}/runs/{run_id}). So development team can focus on exposing of data, but not on development of actuall sending data to some destination.
They move so fast!
What do you like best about the product?
I talk to lots of vendors and normally they say "it's on our roadmap" as a way of saying, "we can't do that and probably never will." But hightough actually delivers their "it's on our roadmap" features in a matter of weeks. We've been with them for 1 year and just renewed a 2-year extension and they've evolved the product way past what we asked for.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you use it a lot it can get a bit cluttered. Would be great to have a way to limit visible syncs to specific user groups so that people can find what they need more quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They've helped us weaponize our data warehouse. They've also liberated our poor integrations team that used to do all this work on their own. It's so much easier to plug/play and let the integrations engineers work on other tricky things.
Great tool for integrating into cross function tools
What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch continues to help us evolve by integrating different tools used by other teams into Salesforce. I'm not technical and the user interface is very easy to use. Great help center that is easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't run into anything that I don't like at this time :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main issue was disconnected systems that before Hightouch took 10+ hours of manual work.
An essential component of our customer data stack
What do you like best about the product?
You'll see similar diagrams on various websites showing data piping from various services into one place. And if you're like me, you've tried them and found the kind of work, but fall down at some point. Hightouch may not yet cover all possible services plugged together, but for the ones that they do support, the syncs *just work*. We saved days or weeks of time getting syncs going with Hightouch that were causing us trouble with competitor products or writing by hand in code.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service is still relatively early and they don't yet have every data source and destination under the sun, but they're constantly adding new ones and listen to customers to help prioritise where they invest their time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Syncing data from multiple sources so that we have a single one-way data flow so that all services we use have the same information about our customers within them
