A fantastic product, backed by an exceptional team

What do you like best about the product?
The Hightouch team is exceptionally responsive. They worked with us to build native integrations for two 3rd party tools that weren't previously supported (Salesforce Platform Events and GainsightPX), getting us solutions with a quick turnaround that supported our timeline. They also welcome feedback and take time to understand our needs and use cases as part of developing their product roadmap. I consider Hightouch to be one of our most valuable partners.

Hightouch drastically reduces the level of effort required to send information from our data warehouse to 3rd party tools. We've been able to complete projects that were previously not possible because of the time commitment it would have taken to build our own in-house Reverse ETL.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see any downsides to using Hightouch, just considerations that need to be kept in mind (that apply to all Reverse ETL, not just Hightouch):
- Introducing Reverse ETL from a data warehouse sometimes means ripping out existing data pipes, so you need to be careful to maintain good relationships with the teams that got things to where they are now
- Getting the whole company onto a SSoT for a given metric takes a lot of work to get everyone aligned on a common metric that each party didn't have the sole say in defining
- Reverse ETL is tremendously powerful, which means that improper use (e.g., widely proliferating a flawed or incorrect metric) can have a large negative impact--you have to come up with guardrails
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Letting business stakeholders see the data they need to do their jobs natively in the tools that they use every day
2. Eliminating ad-hoc data pulls needed to support ongoing operations (e.g., email campaigns)
3. Centrally defining metrics and proliferating them across the company rather than calculating them differently in different places

Specific applications:
1. Using our data warehouse as the SSoT for data in our email marketing platform
2. Sending data to some of our 3rd party partners
3. Automated data pipes to Google Sheets so some stakeholders can have automatically updated data for use in a spreadsheet environment
4. Automating internal data pipes for automated Slack alerting on data issues and notable customer events
5. Sending data to ad platforms to inform keyword bidding

What do you like best about the product?
The level of support the Hightouch team provides is unrivaled. Support requests are handled in minutes, not days. For a platform that's already pretty easy to use, they make it absolutely dummy proof by providing expert support in realtime.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having so many connections means a ton of complexity that the Hightouch team needs to manage. They do a great job of it but sometimes it's hard to understand why something works for one service but not another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch allows us to propagate data from our data warehouse out to operational and reporting platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy configurations, detailed logs and great delta diffing management between source and destination data syncs. The team is also very open to add in extensions/ connectors if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Consumption of the unique chargeable contact quota is not yet visible on the dashboard. If it can be made visible on the dash, it will makenit easier to administer the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reverse ETL and large volume of aggregated data sync for activation from warehouse to engagement tools.
I found it performant with large datasets also so that's a plus.

What do you like best about the product?
Reliable, easy to setup, great monitoring and debug features, can create multiple workspaces, GUI audience builder for self serve marketers.
What do you dislike about the product?
No alerts to email, it's got pagerduty, slack and datadog alerts and a simple email subscription alert feature would also be useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enables us to activate our customer data asset to build omnichannel member experience journies. We use hightouch to send unified and enriched customer data and events from our data warehouse to Braze.

Also used to help drive paid media efficiencies by sending offline conversion events and revenue to Facebook, Google and other ad platforms, along with 1st party audience lists (lookalikes).

Also use it for general data delivery purposes using the webhook connector e.g. sending conversion data to partner platform apis

What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch is great to tool for our business to work as a reverse ETL tool. The team at Hightouch is very helpful when trouble arises.
What do you dislike about the product?
Things are pretty new and sometimes a little jagged and not finished around the edges. But new features are rolled out quickly to correct it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hight touch works as a reverse ETL tool to move data to our partner software. It is really helpful with diffing/ automation and a set and forget assistance.

Where have you been all my life?!

What do you like best about the product?
When I first encountered Hightouch I remember thinking 'where have you been all my life?'. It is so easy to use, easy to get started, ever-increasing destinations and is an incredibly powerful tool in any modern data environment. I also love that they have their finger on the pulse of the market and have built-in several new features centered around dbt - a genius touch. (dbt git sync and dbt exposures to name a few). One of my personal favourites is the ability to schedule jobs to run using cron for those weird and whacky scheduling requirements you might have - has saved me several times.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I've found. Really! The only issue I've ever experienced was around a timeout issue which they triaged, debugged and fixed in 2-3 days. Great support, and communication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of getting nice, clean, juicy warehouse data back into source applications. It completes the data loop for me, and the speed at which I can set up a sync is such a time saver!

What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch has a simple and intuitive UI that makes it easy for non-engineers to set up their own connections. Syncs themselves work consistently and reliably, with slack alerts and really clear error logging for the times where they run into issues. As a product, Hightouch is developing and improving at an exceptional pace, with dozens of new features and destinations released almost every month.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very occasionally, new product releases have caused our syncs to break from one day to the next despite no changes on our end. However, when these occurred, we received good support and fixes were rolled out quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch allows us to get data out of our warehouse and into the tools that our operational teams use on a day-to-day basis. This means they have the information they need, where they need it, dramatically boosting their efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
The solution is extremely paying attention to detail, design and implementation are solid artworks.
Support teams are responsive and almost instant response, makes me feel like timezone is not an issue at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model is slightly hard for us to get our heads around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my vision, Hightouch is solving the Data Accessibility issue, organizations like ours' generate a huge amount of data on daily basis, but making them useful to business is always a challenge, with Hightouch's help our Marketer is empowered to play around with the data to decide what data is useful with a minimal amount of help from Engineers.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very user friendly. Most things I can figure out on my own by looking around or just by reading the documentation. Their team is also responsive when we have any questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the simplicity makes it harder for complicated use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch allows us to setup syncs 10x quicker than we could before. With no code required.

Finding engineering bandwidth is difficult -- Hightouch allows our data scientists and analysts the capability to integrate Snowflake with various sources in seconds.
