Great tool for data integrity across platforms
What do you like best about the product?
Their success team is incredible. I ran into issues with a sync (self-induced after I made a change to a property type in another system) and their team spent most of a day troubleshooting it for me while I was heads down on other work and resolved it on my behalf
What do you dislike about the product?
It does require SQL knowledge, so as an operations employee I needed collaboration from engineering and our data team. This isn't a unique limitation to Hightouch however
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hightouch to have a single source of truth on information (our DB) and pass that into other systems consistently. Before Hightouch individual engineers would define a metric every time they were pushing it to a new tool, and so we had cases where one system would indicate accounts were at a different stage or had reached different milestones than another tool

Made data exports to external tools a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
We were looking at integrating with a variety of external tools used internally, but it was a lot of work and code to build and maintain api endpoints to send data to our tools. We eventually stumbled upon the category of Reverse ETL, and Hightouch was super easy to set up and get working. It only took a few engineering hours, and then was fully able to be taken over by non-technical personnel to manage and maintain, and empowered them to lead work around moving data about. Allows us to maintain reliable data flow without the code overhead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't integrate with everything out there :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exporting data to third party tools used internally, removed the code overhead for us entirely.
Time-travel exists. Hightouch unlocks it.
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about Hightouch is how it enables people with SQL knowledge (and some without) to move data from their warehouse to their favorite tools. Once the platform is hooked up to your infrastructure, there's no, or very little, need to interrupt your engineering or data coworkers. Your mileage may vary.
The Hightouch team sets the bar for collecting and acting on customer feedback. With the feedback we've given them, they've feverishly launched improvements and new value-add features in days! That's right, days. Single digit amounts of days. I highly recommend you visit their changelog to understand their pace of delivery: https://changelog.hightouch.io/
In summary, Hightouch enables data-proficient marketers to perform closer to the speed of ideation. Not only have marketers and analysts on my team been able to launch new channels and integrations more quickly it's also freed up a lot of experienced engineering and product team time to pull forward future projects. Hence, time travel!

What do you dislike about the product?
- Sync logs used to be a lot less helpful, but the Hightouch team took our and other customers' feedback and now this feature is very helpful.
- I recall a handful of times that the Hightouch team released updates that broke working syncs, but their team would work with us to roll back changes or implement necessary fixes.
- I haven't used the Audiences feature, but after my first demo, I wasn't very excited based on what else was on the market. However, the more recent Audience feature releases like "splits", which enable you to create randomized audiences and distribute customer attributes evenly for cross-channel multivariate testing, is "chef's kiss". Audiences is becoming more compelling and potentially superior to other market offerings.

- Saves marketer, analyst, product, and engineer time from building and maintaining custom data integration solutions.
- Saves time by making it trivial to reuse existing data models in multiple channels and integrations.
- Builds trust within the org by increasing transparency, enabling the data warehouse to be the source of truth, the available security options, sync log history, git version control, and scheduling integrations like dbt Cloud and Airflow.

Easy reverse ETL option
What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch has been an amazing tool which has helped us with our reverse ETL needs. The UI is easy to use and understand, building models in convenient and the support team is awesome to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I would like to see some improvements on is the documentation part. There are cases where simple documentation could have saved a lot of support time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using hightouch to provide data to more client-facing users. With Google sheet integration, we can now build better reporting, which has dramatically helped the analytics area.
An outstanding reverse ETL service
What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch is a reverse ETL service that supports taking clean, processed data from a data warehouse and pushing it into operational tools where it can directly benefit a company's Marketing, Sales and Support teams. If a company decides to build this type of functionality in-house, a considerable investment of time is required to create and maintain a framework and each integration. We loved that we could use Hightouch to externalize this effort and instead dive right into getting a HubSpot integration in place with just a few days of work (plus some additional time for fine-tuning).
When we were considering our options, what set Hightouch apart from its competitors was that Hightouch's pricing model is based on the number of destinations you integrate with rather than the number of fields in your integrations. The result is that Hightouch encourages a few deep integrations rather than many superficial integrations, which makes the value of a reverse ETL tool clearer to the business. Sales and support have been stellar with Hightouch; our contacts are always quick to respond and have gone out of their way to provide us with the best possible experience while using their service.

What do you dislike about the product?
Hightouch requires customers to be on the Enterprise plan if they want to have a custom number of destinations (beyond the four offered in the Pro plan). It would be nice to have a standard price per destination to estimate costs more clearly, with variable discounted rates for Enterprise customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Moving cleaned and processed customer data into our marketing automation platform. Without Hightouch we would have needed to write this functionality ourselves or rely on manual processes.
- Automating daily syncs and reporting on any errors. Hightouch handles cross-cutting functionality that applies to all destinations/integrations, such as providing logs of past runs for debugging and reporting on the number of records synced.

Takes the busy work out of moving data to where the people work
What do you like best about the product?
Great user interface which enables our small data team to offload the busy work. We don't want to manage yet another custom code integration to another user access point (i.e. Salesforce, Google Sheets, etc.). Instead, we want to focus on understanding and managing the complex business logic required to feed these different data access points. Hightouch allows enables us to do exactly that.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations in the Google Sheet source, but it's not a showstopper for us. The Hightouch team has been incredibly beneficial in helping us understand when they will address this and responding to questions around this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightough allows us to push data directly from our Snowflake data warehouse into some Google Sheets that our Finance team uses. Additionally, it will be critical in our ability to support more comprehensive Salesforce reporting
Great for scaling the impact of data teams
What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch has a very user-friendly interface that makes it easy for technical users but not super foreign for business users. Connections are easy to setup and integrations work seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maintaining connections is hard; it's hard to support all the different APIs that we may want to interact with. Sometimes connections are "nearly" there, but its the last missing part (i.e. batching support) that makes it incompatible with our use-case
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch enables data teams to easily extend the data warehouse and keep all third-party services in sync. We use many services and keeping customer data in sync across all of them would not be possible without Hightouch.
Makes data a non-issue and let me focus on what's important!
What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch has a great integration library and works extremely well for what we need.
I can easily integrate my data lake — Athena — into my CRM without much effort.
The wizard for linking attributes and the scheduling logic is spot on!

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing huge comes to mind.
I wonder if Hightouch could provide more features to be my one-stop shop for any ELT integration.
Today I use hightouch only to feed my CRMs with data from my data lake (reverse ETL). I'd love to also send data from my CRM to the data lake (ELT).

Syncing product data and analytics from my data lake to my CRM.
This allows my company to work on Product-Led Growth/Product-Led Sales initiatives fast.
It also allows us to drive marketing campaigns based on product usage.

What do you like best about the product?
When looking at the activity in placing tables from warehouse to third-party SaaS, I've many solutions to try and accomplish this. (TIBCO Scribe, Azure Data Factory, Cloud Data Fusion, ext.) The development burden of these can become figuring out "what do I need to change and how do I get my destination system there?
With hightouch I've found this part of the development to be much more straightforward, as you only need to declare what your destination record set should look like.
This is pretty subtle when looking at comparable solutions, but the ability to not worry about change-state, and have hightouch meter out successful changes and responses has been a world of difference.
In other solutions, I found I would often need access to destination data, as well as multiple days of development time to come up with a successful integration.
With hightouch the experience has been - declare a table, configure the mapping, and go!

What do you dislike about the product?
The one criticism I have on the font-end is when displaying synced operations or jobs, they require you to page left/right through blocks of ~20 transactions/job runs.
Would love to see continuous scrolling or better filtering options to narrow down job activity and see where something went wrong.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping empower automation in our projects solution Asana, which has far-reaching benefits. By automatically coordinating assignments for processes like user onboarding, invoicing, and time entry - it's already driving a lot of value for the business.
Because we have more inbound connections to our various SaaS platforms, turning all that inbound operational data around and automating it has been very valuable for us.

AMAZING TOOL WITH INFORMATIVE UI
What do you like best about the product?
Its UI, high touch has a UI which is quite informative itself. I didn't have to look around the documentation and other stuff to set up my sync. While using high-touch I have set up multiple syncs and all those were set up in clicks. I can see the real-time result of my data. If a sync is failing then why is it failing? all these insights are well shown in the UI itself. Also, they have an amazing support team, If I am facing any problem they are minutes away to solve the problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
While working with high-touch, I don't think there are any flaws within their tool. They have provided multiple sources and destination fields for our sync. So for me no dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to sync our data from the warehouse to third-party tools like amplitude. and high touch provides the functionality to extract the data from the warehouse, transform it and sync it with the third-party tools. it solved the problem of not writing and managing a sync pipeline.
