Hightouch is a powerful tool for activating our data
What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration to send data to partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve. Additionally, we've seen a flood of errors and alerts at times. It can get noisy quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch allows us to leverage our data further and drive more value for our clients. This leads to a positive financial impact for the enterprise.

Easy-to-use tool in a complex marketing world
What do you like best about the product?
The seemingly endless possibilities of where you can use this tool. Beyond marketing syncs, HT has allowed us to automate various parts of our operation. Virtually any sync you want is available with HT, and if it's not already there the team is willing to build a case and scope out what it'd look like to add to the tool. Even better, it has helped us to democratize our data by putting the powerful capabilities of rETL in the hands of non-technical analysts thanks to the ease of use of the platform. A great product for any firm looking to utilize rETL features.
What's great is that even though there are some challenges with the tool (it's still maturing), the team is one of the best when it comes to support. They've been willing to build custom connectors for us. A rockstar support team!

- Debugging features: It's a hard problem to solve, but often these API's will fail for one reason or another. HT doesnt make it very clear what the errors mean and how to address. Take the SFTP connector for example, if creds expire you will get a generic "Run Error" with little instruction on what it might be. Thankfully, the support teams are fantastic and jump on questions we have.
- Premature releases and deploys: company has grown rapidly but at the root it is still a startup. It can at times feel like we are identifying issues before the team and instead of the code being rolled back, we are forced to change as the client. An excellent example of this was in the enforcement of primary keys. We had a few syncs that didnt require deduplication (think sending data events in chron order). HT pushed a change to require primary key's to act and function as primary keys (unique and not null). This caused a number of our syncs to break. We did not get a heads up on the deploy and we had to drop everything to address. The change made sense, but i'd encourage HT to monitor the effects of code deploys and provide more heads up to clients that may be affected.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data activation - taking data from our warehouse and syncing it to various marketing platforms and tools. We primarily use HT as a means to facilitate conversion uploads where we tell marketing platforms what happened to customers and enrich it with metadata that allows us to better decision on marketing initatives.
Just switched over to hightouch and I love it!
What do you like best about the product?
Once you get past the initial set up, It is very user friendly!
What do you dislike about the product?
I thought it was a little bit confusing to set it up, but once you have it up and running it is super easy to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is benefiting me by allowing for in-depth insight into conversions on facebook
Hightouch has enabled us to spin up integrations in minutes rather than days
What do you like best about the product?
The simplification of everything into SQL has been a game changer. It allows anyone in our org to take advantage of integrations and build their own without having to rely on an engineering team and code to build a direct integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hightouch is a product that is still being built out, which means that sometimes features are not yet available. While this can be a pain at times, it also means that the team is excited for feedback and new product requests allowing us to have a hand in building custom options into the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch is allowing us to share server side data with vendors, increasing our match rates and allowing us to send in offline conversions with ease. Using this information vendors like Google and Facebook are better able to connect with our consumers.
Very user friendly and the interface makes it easy to work around.
What do you like best about the product?
It is straightforward and very clear to understand. It also has multiple services that make it easy to send leads.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much I don't like about it, but you will need to have an admin from HighTouch to assist the setup better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am not sure what problems HighTouch is solving, but I am sure it will improve the experience.
Great Platform, Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use interface and a robust feature set make taking control of your data and integrations quick and easy with little technical expertise. We've been able to leverage our data warehouse as our CDP to a certain extent and its unlocked a ton of growth for our business in a way that is self-serve.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really not much to dislike about the platform. It would be helpful to have more examples and documentation on how to set up some of the data models and corresponding destinations like Facebook Conversions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch allows us to take control of our own destiny and remove the need for extensive backend engineering support to operate a wide array of our marketing channels seamlessly.
Awesome experience all around!
What do you like best about the product?
HT seems to have a solution for every problem. Our other main tool data transfer tool is Fivetran, and there are always many more issues there than HT. HT is just more intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any major dislikes for HT at the moment, however when a sync fails (let's say, for a alphanumeric value in an ID field), it can be confusing when I see 9 rows that should have passed and 1 row that was the reason for the failure. I get that it was a batch test, but people ask me what's going on there frequently. A clearer UI, or just showing the 1 failed row could help this.
There are probably other instances where a clearer/cleaner UI would help HT. I would suggest logging issues that come up during HT business office hours with RV and other businesses to know what is frequently a point of confusion or clarification.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very helpful to have data going to our vendors that we don't have to custom write
Allows us to optimize our paid media spend without adding engineering headcount
What do you like best about the product?
Hightouch's reverse-ETL capability solved a real problem for us as marketers with measurable lift. To get the most out of our paid media campaigns we need to upload our conversion data. We could have spent a lot of development cycles building processes that synced data back to an ever-growing list of vendors (i.e., Facebook, Google, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.) but with Hightouch one marketer could handle it all with a little SQL and some time with the docs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to estimate ongoing costs for row-based pricing. This is a recurring problem for many SaaS vendors and is not just a problem for Hightouch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch allows our marketers to integrate with new media platforms to drive optimized performance without requiring the heavy, continued involvement of engineers.
Super clear UI that makes it easy to set up the proper integrations.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how straightforward it is to set up integrations by querying your own data warehouse; I like the functionality to preview what the data looks like and test to make sure it actually works. Customer support is also fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if you can call it a "dislike", but I feel like I'm maybe not maximizing how I would use the tool. I would imagine there are many use cases beyond purely sending cleaned, enriched data to a marketing platform, but not tapping into that today.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hightouch makes it very easy to send cleaned, enriched data back to marketing platforms for optimization purposes. It makes it easy to test and understand if it works whereas previously it was a black-box whether my events were successfullly making it to Facebook, as an example.
Great product fit for our use case
What do you like best about the product?
We were looking for a platform that would allow us to take data out of our data warehouse and sync it to NetSuite without having to build a custom web application.
There are a lot of data connectors out there that take data into the warehouse, hightouch takes it out and calls APIs with it.

What do you dislike about the product?
So far there are not many things I would change in hightouch, we have a list of features that would be great to see in the product like an improved explanation of the types of each data field we're mapping to in the destination.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making it easier for us to take data from tables using regular queries and use it to send information to various APIs.
This traditionally requires web application to be built to tailor to the APIs, hightouch replaces this and make it easier to monitor the health of the data sync pipelines.
