What do you like best about the product?
Our startup has been using Chatwoot for about a year. It has worked very well for our use case. The new features are just added advantages; it was working for us perfectly from the first version itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints as such. It solves the problem perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We signed up on Chatwoot when we wanted a live chat customer support solution. We embedded the chat widget on our website, and it has been a smooth ride ever since.

Promising simple live chat tool

  • September 03, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This tool has most of the basic features you would need in a live chat. It's very flexible, so you can use it either on your website or to reply to messages to a Facebook page or Twitter profile. The setup is very easy to accomplish. Also, it has a self-hosted option, which is very hard to find in similar live chat software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's still lots of room for improvement. The live chat itself could provide more flexibility in terms of automatic responses or some sort of basic chatbots. Visitor details could also be improved (for example, the visitor location). Other than that, it could also include features to make it easier for the user to send a screenshot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Chatwoot is a simple yet effective tool to communicate with visitors and leads from multiple sources, for example the website and social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have someone technical on your team to set this up, then it's a nice simple live chat tool to consider.
