ScyllaDB is revolutionary for your commercial application
What do you like best about the product?
It is faster than other NoSQL databases as it provides the best result of distributed data. Another point ; it is easy to use and easily integrated with your applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have not seen anything but will notify if anything we will find it.

What do you like best about the product?
Mostly used for high performance and availability.

it is a bit complex to grasp at first and not as such beginner friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Availability is crucial for our clients and we needed such database which has high availability and fault tolerance. Hence, we found Scylla to solve such an issue for us.

High Perfomance database store
What do you like best about the product?
it is fast! Most professional reviews show its ability to deal with high throughput, and consistent high performance. It avoids kernels and caches. As of 2024 there still seems to be some features issues. Customer support is friendly and responsive. It's quite easy to use for a newbie, and easy to be implemented to your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not so versatile or flexible. It would be good if both perfomance and flexibility can be built in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to query a health dataset.
Scales better
What do you like best about the product?
It scales easily and the number of nodes required are lesser as compared to that required with Cassandra and lesser index space as compared to MongoDB.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many restrictions on to what will work in it and what will not. Like when you have to filter the order is very specific for writing the columns.

It helps us generate real time reports.

Sometimes its difficult to decide when to pic ScyllaDB over competitior

For our POC purposes we used it and it helped to decide whether to go for it or not

Not anything specific except getting drivers working across different platforms is bit difficult

Scaliablity is something that I was looking for compred to other NoSql databases. especially in high availability cases where we need to upscale or downscale quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
Fast database with minimal lags and strong data processing and recognition capabilities, especially for structured data sets. Well-resourced and supported to train up new users relatively seamlessly and efficiently. Customer support team is incredibly responsive and always quite helpful.

It's somewhat less useful for less- or un-structured data sets and requires more hand-holding and micromanagement

It has sped up the internal data analytics of corporate customer queries - resulting in faster and more targeted response and services to the end users

The data model in Scylla needs to be well though of as per the use case in order to achive the best latencies.

Using it to save tonns of user's data at very high throuputs for both writes and reads.
