Have used it for years and will never switch
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily configure what folders get synced per device, as well as the ability to easily share files and folders with other users. The Dropbox apps are great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I add a new folder, it automatically syncs to other devices unless I go in and uncheck it manually. For clarification, this is not the case if I'm adding a sub-folder to an existing folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud backups, managing storage across my devices, disaster recovery, sharing folders and files with others, remote access.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've been using Dropbox since the first year it came out. It has been rock solid since day one and have recommended it to many other users, and have implemented it companies that I have owned.

One of the best cloud storage solution
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I liked about dropbox is that it is great even for previewing large files and it provides easily sharing of the files. The UI interface is quite good and the search feature is quite powerful. Also, it provides the easy management of the shared files. The web and the desktop app works seamlessly. The group and the user permissions are very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is quite high and it lacks the third party integration as per some of its competitors. Sometimes it doesn't let to preview the file and the user has to download it first to preview. Also, there is no traceability or tracking logs which is a major issue. The editing options are also limited. The mobile app cannot be used without updating it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the help of the dropbox, files can be easily synced up and shared with anyone. It is secure and a powerful tool for previewing the file. The search feature is quite useful when you have large number of files synced with the dropbox.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great product that offers large files to be previewed and shared very easily.
Dropbox offers security and easy transferring
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is easy to operate and it allows you to upload your files for storage on a cloud platform that you can log in to at any time. Dropbox has several layers of security to ensure that your files are only viewed by you and the people you authorize access to. When you upload files, you can set their viewability to either only by you or invite people to allow access to them via email. This is very helpful when you're uploading files that have confidential information. Dropbox is available on mobile too and this allows you to upload and share files from any device. When it comes to sharing, you can create a link through which people can view your file and this is more convenient than having to send email invitations if there are multiple people.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to Google Drive, the storage capacity in Dropbox is too low and the incentives for upgrading beyond basic version isn't there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using Dropbox for a few years, but a lot more now as my need for sharing files has increased. While working remotes, Dropbox has turned out to be the best medium of file transfer as it ensures that our work isn't delayed. We used to send files to one another via email attachments, but due to how slow they are, we made the decision to carry out all our file sharing via Dropbox due to its ease and speed. Dropbox is also a great medium for collaboration through one of their tools, Dropbox Paper, which allows us to work on documents together when we're managing our projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Dropbox as it's a secure and reliable platform for sharing files. It comes with a 2GB limit on storage so if you're looking for more, I'd recommend Google Drive instead or you can subscribe to Dropbox Pro.
Using drop box pro in every day in business for manuals revisions and team file sharing.
What do you like best about the product?
The feature we use the most is being able to have revisions on documents and see who edited the file last. selective sync, you’re able to remove whole folders from your Dropbox folder but continue to keep them in your Dropbox account. That way, you save space on your hard drive, but you’re also able to sync them back at any point in time. Also store you materials in internet safety even when your devices lost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Drains the battery from my Macbook, is constantly syncing files, and when they are uploaded to the cloud, you can't even see them in the drobox folder on the desktop. the Support used to be great with quick customer support response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating manual revisions , team file sharing, keeping company files in one place and access for all members in the group and select outside members will access. Used for special projects and scheduling sharing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would switch to it now , great tool solid performance and works everywhere
Sharing Capability of Dropbox
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that a file within a folder can be shared with outside partners without sharing the entire folder. I think there are also a lot of other great qualities about Dropbox that include but are not limited to how one can share resources, folders, items, or files with outside partners who are not within their corporate circle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that you must go through multiple hoops in order to make the same sharing capabilities available to countless people if you are trying to share similar files with different outside partners. It is an unnecessary amount of hoops to jump through for a few quick and easy tasks a person may be trying to accomplish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is a great resource for for being able to share certain files that may be larger than average with outside partners who do not have access to your inner network of files. For instance, clients you may have and videos or other forms of high quality content you need to share with these people.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say unless you have an internal software at your company that shares a uniform space in files, documents, images etc that are needed for external clients at any given moment; then Dropbox is a good resource to have and can also provide you with different package levels of storage space.
My Dropbox review
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Dropbox for a few years now and it hasn't ever disappointed me. It easy to use, works like how its intended, and not too buggy. I've also worked wiith the Dropbox API and didn't mave much trouble getting it to work with my services. The documentation is well written and that's always a great sign for developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dislike how Dropbox comes installed with Windows 10 and how it is forcing you to use it. It's pretty much bloatware, and it would be have been nice if we had a choice to install by default or just skip it entirely. People should not be forced to use software they don't enjoy using, so I never understood why products come packaged with software they won't end up using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is helping solve people work effectively in a remote setting. Especially during the age of coronavirus, people are having to spend more time working remotely and collaborating with teammates on the fly. Dropbox helps solve that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox is a great alternative to Google Drive.

It's really interesting and easy to use application. It's security features are also remarkable.one additional part which I like is that the offline access to the files ,which doesn't bound me to be in network area all the time.

DropBox Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to share multiple files very easily within folders. Sleek design, straighforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that once someone is on your team they can see all the files you share. I wish there was a way to lock certain members from seeing certain documents shared. Also, there's only a certain amount of members can get per license. So mostly sharing one account between the team is required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to share documents easily without a Share Server like Mega.NZ or Mediafire. Sharing files is very easy. You can do it via direct links or you can send an email. Very straight forward.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not use Dropbox unless you plan on account sharing or having only certain number people on your team with their own accounts. This does not grant access per folder, but per team. So you cannot lock certain documents from certain people.
Dropbox allows a lot more flexibility than your standard storage software
What do you like best about the product?
Its flexibility and how versatile their plans are. I like the fact that your files remain, even though you choose not to renew your membership.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps, it could be price points variation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to store past projects and I'm able to keep my portfolio organized
Best in Class, and the price shows
What do you like best about the product?
It never really messes up. It's easy to sync, send, link, modify and search for items, and use it as a camera backup from my phone. In this last regard, it operates better than Amazon Photos and Google Photos by far.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. It now costs about $120/year, and I would rather have it at $90. But there's no way around it--this software has saved my ass a number of times. Grumble as I might, it is worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Files that have been saved a long time ago, and maybe a couple of versions ago, can be found. It is so easy to link to files and folders in Dropbox, and easy to move files around (especially if you sync to your computer).
