Limited number of devices on Free plan. I had to device which devices to remove frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Actually none of the above options. I use it for my own and alone. The main pain point here has been the fact that I don't need to use my USB thumbdrive any more. It's been more than 10 years.
Dropbox is a seamless on the go cloud.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me take my music straight from my computer and play it in my car seamlessly. It also makes it very easy to share files with collaborators on music projects by letting me text it right to their phone.
Never going without Dropbox again
What do you like best about the product?
As a long-time cloud storage user, Dropbox has become my most trusted solution for keeping files synced across all my computers. It outperforms every other cloud service I’ve tried, with faster loading times and rock-solid reliability. I particularly value the Smart Sync feature, which helps manage my limited disk space by letting me offload files I don’t immediately need. Setting up Dropbox is remarkably simple, and it’s become such an essential part of my daily workflow that I always make it my first installation on any new machine. I use it every day without fail, and given its ease of use and dependability, I consistently recommend Dropbox to anyone looking to keep their files backed up and accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honeslty, I think the only downside I can think of is that I'm dependent on it now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves my cross-platform file management challenges by seamlessly syncing files between my Windows desktop and Mac laptop. This eliminates the traditional barriers of working across different operating systems, allowing me to focus on my creative work rather than file organization. The immediate benefit is a more efficient workflow - I can start a project on my desktop and continue it on my laptop without manually transferring files or worrying about version control. This flexibility has streamlined my creative process, letting me work from either machine without interruption.
Long term I still use it, but it's a love-hate relationship
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely reliable syncing, easy sharing of content through expiring and trackable links, everyone knows it
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are problems such as the recent fiasco with inability to sync to extrernal drives on Macs, it takes forever for Dropbox to fix the problem and the communication is slow and sporadic via forums.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue is keeping multiple systems in sync and data safe (outside of backups), as well as ability to house large amounts of data in the cloud with just subsets of it local on systems.
The only way to have integrated cloud storage
What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE how easily DB integrates with mac. And how easy i can share files. AND if im running low on space… i can convert a folder to online only.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly not too much. Sometimes the sync has to be paused and unpaused. but overall not bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to work with my clients and share files easily.

File Storage and Transfer
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
When sharing with someone a lot of times the email from DropBox to the recipient goes into the junk / spam. A few months ago there were issue with sharing with recipients who had a gmail account. It seems to have been resolved but at the time it was terrible. (For almost a month)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many users we share with and the ease of sharing is not always ideal.
Easy it is to organize my sheet music and notes. No matter where I am.
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Dropbox for quite a while now, and as a solo violinist who travels a lot, it's become an essential part of my daily routine. One of the things I appreciate most is how easy it is to organize my sheet music and notes. No matter where I am, I can access my scores from my phone, tablet, or laptop without any hassle.
The sync feature works flawlessly, which means I never have to worry about whether I have the latest version of a piece when preparing for a performance. I also love how intuitive the interface is — even when I'm rushing between rehearsals and gigs, I can quickly find what I need.
Dropbox has really simplified my workflow and given me peace of mind on the road. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who needs reliable, accessible, and well-organized cloud storage.

Dropbox has really simplified my workflow and given me peace of mind on the road. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who needs reliable, accessible, and well-organized cloud storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
As for downsides, I sometimes find that larger files take a bit longer to sync, especially when I'm on slower internet connections while traveling. It would be great if there were some optimization for these situations. Additionally, the storage plans can feel a bit pricey compared to some other services, but the reliability and ease of use make it worth it for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of accessibility and organization for me. As a traveling musician, I often move between different locations and devices. With Dropbox, I never have to worry about leaving important sheet music behind or carrying heavy binders with me. Everything I need is available in one secure place, and that makes my life so much easier.
