What do you dislike about the product?

It eliminates version-control issues by maintaining a consistent single source of truth for shared documents. Its sync and access features ensure that team members can work seamlessly from any device, while permission controls and audit trails support compliance and data security requirements.

Reliable Storage, But Duplicate Management Needed
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Dropbox serves as a centralized location for storing all my digital files. It efficiently uploads any files I use on my laptop automatically to the cloud, ensuring that I have a secure backup of my data. The automatic uploading feature is incredibly useful for keeping all my important documents safe and accessible from anywhere, which significantly simplifies my workflow and provides peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find navigating Dropbox a bit difficult at times, especially when I try to open files but end up clicking the checkbox instead, which is quite annoying. Deleting duplicate files is very challenging and Dropbox lacks an inherent tool for identifying and managing these duplicates. This results in me having two or three times the storage space I actually need due to these duplicate uploads, which is frustrating and costly. Despite the advancements in AI, it's disappointing that Dropbox does not have a feature to easily search for and present duplicates for efficient organization. The current structure of my files in Dropbox is haphazard, making it difficult to find anything, which further complicates its usability.

I use Dropbox as a central location to store digital files from my laptop, and it automatically uploads them to the cloud for storage.
Robust Storage with Some Accessibility Hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Dropbox as it offers me a reliable cloud storage solution for all my documents since 2019. It incredibly simplifies sharing various documents with my team, which makes our collaborative work seamless, especially given our large group of over 120 people needing access. I appreciate Dropbox for its easy-to-use accessibility features across multiple devices, allowing me to access vital information anytime, anywhere, whether I’m on the road, at the airport, or on vacation. The document restoration and rewind capabilities are outstanding and have saved me numerous times from errors or accidental deletions; it's truly a magnificent feature. The convenience of controlling access, ensuring some team members can edit while others can only view the documents, fits our working style perfectly. Dropbox’s safety features give me peace of mind, knowing that my information is secure in the cloud and not at risk due to hardware issues with my laptop or hard drives. These aspects, especially the vast storage and backup features, are pivotal and ensure I would consider using Dropbox repeatedly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Dropbox's requirement for all users accessing shared space to have enough memory in their own accounts frustrating. Even when I pay for the space and want to share large documents with others, they are unable to access it unless they purchase additional space. This has been a hurdle because it leads to some team members having to opt-out of using Dropbox, which counters collaboration efforts. Additionally, the interface of Dropbox is not as user-friendly as some competitors like Google Drive. It's tricky for users who are not familiar with the platform, making it less appealing to those outside my network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Dropbox solves my storage issues, providing cloud safety, restoring documents effortlessly, and allowing access anywhere. It enables easy document sharing and access control for teams.
