Dropbox: Consistent Cloud Storage with High Recommendation
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for over twenty years for storing various files and documents, and it has proven to be the right choice for me when I was looking for a reliable cloud storage solution. I appreciate Dropbox for providing a common source of cloud files, allowing me to access the same data from various computers and locations, which is incredibly convenient for my workflow. Additionally, Dropbox facilitates sharing large files with customers, something that would be difficult to achieve through email alone. The integration of Dropbox into my workflow feels seamless, almost like it is part of my hard drive, making file transferring very simple. I also like Dropbox, in part because even though it was initially harder to set up compared to later cloud technologies, I found it more preferable compared to others I've tried, which ultimately led me to stick with Dropbox. Furthermore, I've recommended Dropbox many times, reflecting my strong satisfaction with the service.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started using Dropbox, setting it up was harder compared to some other cloud services that became available later. Despite this initial difficulty, I stayed with Dropbox because I couldn't stand using the other services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox provides a common cloud source, allowing me to work from various locations and devices with seamless data access. It also enables sharing large files with customers that email cannot handle.

Fantastic App, But Missing Apple Watch Support
What do you like best about the product?
Love everything about it! I use it on a daily basis several on side of the year for my choreography in Gymnastics career
What do you dislike about the product?
Not an app for Apple Watch. I would purchase an Apple Watch if that was something that would be accessible and then I would not have to use my phone to work on a daily basis and use it by holding in my hand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have an extensive library music that I use for my work and don't talk. Allows me to use that every summer.
Great for File Sharing, But Limited Device Access and Guest Usability
What do you like best about the product?
Easy, free way to share files with students and colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
For sharing with people without a dropbox account it can be challenging for them, so I can't use it with everyone. I wish you could use the dropbox app on more than a few devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enables me to share content with student groups and professional ensembles and have members of those folders contribute and share as well.
Indispensable for Document Management and Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I greatly appreciate Dropbox for many reasons. It has been essential for me for nearly 10 years in my work as an immigration consultant. The tool is intuitive and easy to learn on my own, even with my limited technological skills. I find the file request feature particularly useful as it allows my clients to submit their documents directly, thus avoiding frequent losses when sending by email. The ability to securely store documents for the required minimum periods is crucial for me, especially since my clients often lose their documents and come back to me even years later for copies. Moreover, the accessibility of Dropbox on the phone allows me to respond effectively to client calls, even when I'm on the move, as I keep my documents at hand at all times. The integration with Asana is also a major asset for the smooth management of my files, the direct linking of notes to documents in Dropbox optimizes my workflow. Finally, the peace of mind that Dropbox provides in case of unexpected data losses or hardware access - like during the fire I experienced - allows me to continue my activity without interruption by accessing my files from another device.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like Dropbox to offer a free signature version, which would allow me to avoid paying another company. Additionally, I wish the signature feature were more comprehensive, including options like tracking and reminders for contract signing, similar to what other companies like DocuSign offer. I would also like the documents, once signed, to be automatically integrated into the client folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is essential for my work, preventing the loss of client documents and facilitating remote access, even during outages. It organizes client files, centralizing them to avoid losses via email. I appreciate its integration with Asana for file management.
Great for Sharing Files, Needs Improvement on Photo Albums
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for more than ten years, primarily for sharing and storing important files, and I appreciate its capability to facilitate easy sharing of photos and videos. Sharing media is seamless, as I can quickly copy a link and email it to others, making this feature incredibly useful and reliable over time. Despite facing some disappointments regarding photo organization within albums, the ease of sharing videos remains a feature I rely on most heavily. Additionally, the setup process was hassle-free when I initially began using the service, indicating its user-friendly nature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am disappointed that Dropbox no longer stores my photos in the specific albums I have in the Apple Photos app. Despite using it for ten years and pleading for this feature to be added back, Dropbox has not implemented this functionality. Now, all my photos end up in a single massive album, which is very difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox for sharing and storing important files and photos, finding it easy and successful for a long time. However, I'm disappointed that it doesn’t organize photos into albums from the Apple Photos app, making it difficult to use.
Effortless Organization, Cross-Device Sync, but Needs More Storage

This capability allows me to create specific categories that help me find my items quickly and efficiently. I really appreciate the organization and categorization process, as it ensures that my files and information are well organized, making it easier and faster to locate what I need. The seamless experience of accessing my files both on my iPhone and PC is another aspect I truly enjoy. It provides flexibility and convenience, allowing me to manage my data effortlessly across different devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used up my storage pretty quickly, and I couldn't afford to get more.
