Dropbox Keeps My Teams Connected

  • November 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We love the team sharing features allowing everyone to access files across teams. Files sync quickly and I personally love offline syncing for everything which keeps us in control. There are many tools being offered to keep the user in the platform, which we have yet to explore all of. Also love the revision history. Saves butts all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When sharing links with mobile devices, the experience is not the easiest for them.
Also there's a strong push to get everyone to sign up and that causes people to incorrectly ask for acess to folders. Your service is great. you don't have to force the sale a the price of user experience. Find a solution to hit both.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
secure shared environment I can trust my files to be held privately without unauthorized access to anyone and complete backups to ensure nothing is lost.

It could be more user-friendly

  • November 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to organize files, create folders and access the content from anywhere. I also like that I have the ability to password protect links, and send individual links to people. I work in podcasting and often have to send and receive audio files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate getting a link to someone's Dropbox file and not being able to access it. I've had more than one Dropbox account at a time, and knowing which account I needed to be logged into to open a file was always somewhat frustrating. Or when a file would be shared with me and eat up my storage, that was always annoying. I'm still not fully confident I understand the ins and outs of Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to backup certain files, and know I'm able to share these files with others if I want. That said, my first choice for sending large files is WeTransfer because it's just easier to use.
