The fact that I can spin it up in a few minutes. Config is user friendly.

It's easy to run. Very stable, also open source and has a aligning features. Still my favorite solution for Loadbalancing

Debugging isn't that easy. Configurations that run into empty routes are tricky to troubleshoot.

Easy to use, easy to master
What do you like best about the product?
As a long time Linux user, setting up HAProxy to suit my needs is incredibly easy, and the versatility and speed of it makes it perfect for our needs. With IP range filtering and API whitelisting it does the job we used multiple applications for before switching to HAProxy.

I have not found any downsides to using HAProxy yet
