What do you like best about the product?
The HAPEE version combines a productive load balancer with excellent built-in software WAF and mod_security., as well as protection from DOS attacks, protection from bots, a module for google recaptcha. It was the built-in security system that first attracted our attention to the version on ANDROID. With the help of the technical support team, we created an acceptable system configuration file and covered most of our security needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data transmitted using the send-metrics module to Prometheus by default is not so informative for system administration, which we intend to cover using Fusion in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HAPEE allows us to monitor and prevent attacks on our remote service system on a daily basis. It also allows us to monitor and prevent attacks on our remote service system on a daily basis

As we are using Microservices so it helped us in easily doing the port forwarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike as it helped us to resolve our big problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have several instances which was in private subnet and lots of services where running on it like mongo,MySQL,tomcat etc.And these services are not directly available for the clients so we configured Haproxy on public subnet instance through which we easily able to forward the traffic from public subnet server to private subnet server.
I love HAproxy!

We purchased the enterprise version along with Fusion after a few years using the Aloha appliances and have been really impressed by the centralization and monitoring that Fusion provides. We have been leveraging HAPEE as a key component in our companies network now, allowing us to easily direct users to any specific datacenter we need. Support is still awesome. They are very open to receiving input from their customers.

I enjoy having an interface without extra frills or anything fancy. It makes it simple to input your config, easy to check the status of your applications, and quick to deploy. When you have questions or need configuration assistance, the Aloha team does an excellent job in helping.

3 years later, and still no complaints, it just works.

Anycast BGP, load balancing in the DMZ, directing users to specific datacenters for failover, health monitoring, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
This is more due to the functional richness of the product than any deficiency in the documentation or design, but HAProxy is a very complex product. It takes a while to understand how best to use it. It's so worth the effort, though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been deploying the Community Edition since 2015. It was originally brought in to replace Apache servers configured as reverse proxies in a DMZ in order to support blue/green deployment. It was the only software load balancer at the time that could do a configuration reload without interrupting existing sessions. Now we use it in numerous roles: It has essential how we manage connectivity both internally and from our clients. We are now working on getting commercial HAPEE licenses both for the commercial-grade support and for access to Fusion.

Haproyx-ingress is among the best documents in the market, which makes it very easy to use and implement it.
Future rich, as you can use it as API-Gateway or Simply Reverse Proxy, it's supports standard Kubernetes ingress, but also support Gateway API..
Also, it's very fast, you can ton of stuff with it.
I am using haproxy-ingress daily as an administrator.
I am very happy to say that folks in Slack are very responsive and helpful!

I use ad ungress controller and onprem leader bilancino and I love vero simile config and very good performance.
