Great gateway to bridge two systems with ease in programming/easability
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to program and update when requirements change. Quicker turnaround for implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Making it appear to the end users that they are in Teamcenter so it doesn't look like we have an additional application we are making them use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for a couple of different applications within the Company. One of them is to be a database that users can go into and request a multitude of data that are all being retrieved from various databases. Making it a one-stop for the user. The other application is work order system that was easier to develop in Mendix verse the customization effort required to have it directly in Teamcenter.

ease of use, ease of implementation ,number of features
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far in my use of mendix. However, I'd like to see more options on integration with Siemens Products and other popular products

The low-code tooling allows us to democratize our data stack and application development
What do you dislike about the product?
From a developer standpoint, the user interface has a high learning curve relative to normal IDE's. Debugging is not intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mendix is solving our difficulty with producing custom user interfaces on top of our Siemens standard product (OpCenter)

The UI is intuitive and allows for significant customization layers on top of native OOTB offerings. Also not being platform dependent is an added bonus

Still is not as intuitive in the design space as others

Allowing for Edge based solutions and weaving regulatory reqts with native toolsets

As I have been working with Opcenter, I felt some difficulties to integrate with Opcenter, If we make any easy way to integrate it will be very useful.

Merging more number of attributes and history in Single screen, easy switch between mendix and other application
