Conductor Searchlight Is Worth the Price
What do you like best about the product?
Searchlight is an enterprise-level SEO platform that provides a wealth of research, tracking and content creation opportunities. It's a one-stop tool for my SEO needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the most interesting new features come ad added costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Searchlight makes SEO research, whether at the keyword, page or domain level, a breeze. It helps us determine the best keywords to use for a particular business need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you do your due diligence to research other SEO products, you'll find that Conductor Searchlight offers most, if not all of what others do, and their customer service, including live online chat, can't be beat.

What do you like best about the product?
Conductor's keyword data is great and super beneficial when ideating and refining content ideas for our site. From meta descriptions, page copy and blog posts we are always checking Conductor for the right keywords for our goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating the different aspects of the platform can be confusing at first but you'll eventually find what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Conductor to improve our organic search as well as make some paid search decisions. Monitor our ranking also clues us in on some content needs.

The platforms what's already great but they constantly are adding new features too. The customer service and strategy consultant are also top of the line and always ready to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a bit high. If you are a small business the cost will probably out weight the benefits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor Searchlight helps my team and I to track and investigate our rankings on google. In addition, we get great content ideas and website audits.

What do you like best about the product?
Conductor has a report titled, "content performance, which not only allows you to analyze the organic performance of various pages of your site over time but pulls from the DOM changes you have made to your HTML. This allows a user of Conductor to understand how changes to the DOM directly affect organic web traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Conductor's tool for creating custom reports "workspaces" does not have clean UX/UI. The tool needs more user flexibility to edit the reports and customize the layout, coloring, etc. Plus the navigation just does not feel intuitive or user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor helps us plan content creation and understand web page performance. This informs how our content teams plan content creation and how our product marketing teams frame our products.
Excellent Platform for Small to Med Size Businesses
What do you like best about the product?
The support team was absolutely phenomenal for Conductor. The level of detail and professionalism given to our team was like nothing I've experienced before. The Explore tab was also incredibly useful to get an understanding of how any page on the internet is currently performing, and was used often!
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest flaw for us specifically was the ability to customize the product to fit our exact needs. The platform is probably extremely useful for small to medium sized businesses, but massive enterprises like ours can be very particular with functionality needs due to the reporting we're required to give to our leadership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Category support for the merchandising categories for our ecommerce website.

Consider the level of customization needed for your business. For example, do you need the adjustable timeframes to align with y our fiscal calendar? Small to medium sized businesses (under 10,000 employees) will find Conductor to be a good fit for their needs. But larger enterprises may find the lack of customization capabilities to be a challenge.

I like that all tables are client friendly and are easy to read as well as pleasing to the eye.

The tools are sometimes hard to find since the names change and do are no necessarily intuitive.

I've been working with the folks at Conductor for around 3 years now across 2 companies, and I what I can tell you is that they have the perfect combination of people and platform to help grow your SEO.
The Searchlight platform itself is extremely powerful and capable of many different tasks. I still find myself coming across new features and different ways to do things within the tool. Coupled with an expert from the Conductor team, I have never felt lost or unable to find the answer I am looking for.

What do you dislike about the product?
The platform and the team are great. The only negative part for me, is I just don't have enough horsepower within my own team to execute on all of the data and insight that the platform and the team provides me!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many problems that Searchlight helps solve. For one, understanding what keywords are generating volume to your website is super important - and understanding which ones have the potential to yield even more results. The competitive insights are also really important so I can understand where I should be focusing and where I don't need to focus on as much. At the end of the day, the data that Searchlight provides has allowed us to increase organic traffic to our site significantly within 12 months.

It's well worth the investment if you are serious about growing your organic search traffic.

Would be nice to have a bit more insight, also some SEO words won’t be relevant to what I am searching for at times

What do you like best about the product?
Conductor is a very complex but robust platform. The complexity is at times off-putting. However, the account reps and LiveChat service make up for this.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Conductor platform is so complex, and there are a lot of moving parts to understand and update. This can sometimes deter my team from using it. It takes a while to learn the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SEO mostly.
