Cool but no big news
What do you like best about the product?
Features and product vision related to features and ease to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Qlik constantly changes its licensing policy which has a very negative impact. The insistence on talking about SaaS all the time made the event very boring. I understand that despite being a trend, some companies in Brazil will not adopt SaaS, mainly because we don't have servers here, and that puts us on the same level as our competitors who lost a lot of business because of it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with Qlik Sense to help public companies address their main problems related to lack of information even with a huge amount of data. The main benefit is to make the company understand the importance of making decisions based on data and information

It is a market-leading product that has been a leader in the Gartner magic quadrant for over 11 consecutive years.
It has been a great tool to cross data and drive our sales and operations

Its reliability combined with its ease to use

That it does not simplify for learning licenses such as power BI

we've been solving issues related to sales reports, account planning, customer overviwew, project cost analysis, competitor analysis, market analysis and many more
Useful data analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
This is a useful tool for business analytics. You can easily pass query or add a filter to get the required data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, you will need a bit of hand holding to understand the features of the tool. But once you get hands on then it becomes very easy to work with the tool.
Another disadvantage is that it gets freeze at times.

We do a lot of data analytics with QlikView.

This is more of an advanced version of MS Excel and VB.
Qlikview - Helping us in solving large data complexities & Making analysis easy
What do you like best about the product?
Well this software helps me in organizing large data into presentable manner. Also I am able to make small data sets by running the query also it has features of processing multiples of lacs of rows in very less time. You can use multiples pictogram to represent your data such as Tables & Pivot Tables etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well its a little complex software to use but with time you can win over that issue. Also, for finance professional like me initially it was very difficult to make understanding of this software but now i am using it to process my data in very efficient manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well the first issue resolved by this is the drawback of MS Excel that it can more than 10.7 lacs rows which excel can not. And secondly It helps in running query which helps you to get the desired data in a desired format.
Far better than Tableau in many Aspects!
What do you like best about the product?
Qliksense is absolute beast when it comes to true ETL capabilities. As compare to Tableau and Power BI it can handle much larger datasets. Qlik scripting is too powerful and easy to master. Self- service capabilities are also great in qliksense as it was designed to be self service analytic rather than a guided analytics tool. Qlik is also offering cloud deployment of their qlik products on all the popular cloud platform including their own cloud offering. Visualization is also good but compare to Tableau it lags behind.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most important thing that I did not like in qliksense is that most of the features that was available in qlikview natively has not been made available yet. So, to bring some qlikview like functionality we have to rely on extensions which are hard to build and master as it require front end tech stack skills set like js, angular ,nodejs etc. Also, it lags behind in visualization capabilities and native support of other analytical language like python and R is not supported yet which is there in Power BI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are providing guided and self service MI to our stakeholders in an automated fashion which used to take lots of manaul effort to build earlier. Lots of manual task have been removed and replaced with automatic reporting solution with qliksense
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Condiser qliksense for its unmatched ETL and large datasets handling capabilities. Qlik is adding new features in every new release which happens every 3 months so I beleive once it has python and R integration embedded it is going to be a master in BI.
Qlikview- A Good data extraction and analysis tool
What do you like best about the product?
Its help you run even more than 60 lakhs of row data. And even at a faster pace. Also there are a lot of presentation tools which help you fetch data in user friendly manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such but one needs to be skilled to operate such system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like in excel we can put our data in limited manner as we can only put upto 10.7 lakhs rows but not with qlikview we are processing more than 60-70 lakhs rows of data and even without any delay.
Great for connecting custom applications to marketing automation
What do you like best about the product?
Blendr has a lot of standard connectors to all kinds of tools available and is always willing to add others. It really helps us to connect marketing automation platforms (like Hubspot, Marketo, Act-On, etc) to custom applications like CRM. The functionality is much broader and more intelligent than for example Zapier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The website does not show all the possible fields that are available for mapping, you really need to login to the tool to see every possibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting marketing automation to custom applications like CRM. All major automation solutions have standard integrations to the 'big' CRMs (like Salesforce, MSDynamics, etc) but Blendr makes it possible to connect any other tool, as long as it has an API.
Great potential, but not end user focused
What do you like best about the product?
Qliksense is very powerful in terms of data preparation. Building data model or writing code in load editor is a breeze for geek developers. Its data compression algorithms (qvf) and few other techniques delivers an unimaginable performance (quicker load time). Its far better than its competitors like Tableau, Power BI in these areaa.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Native Extensions to build visualization are so primitive that they should be called so. Overall also the UI to build is not so intuitive like in Tableau. It has support for third party extension, but you can't use them at corporate level without worrying about the data security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis), building dashboard and storyboards. I like the storyboards feature a lot. I work on Pharmaceutical and Health Care domains, doing analysis Supply Chain and Quality Management
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its going to be the future in data visualization community. Have to learn it if you aim to be in this field.
I enjoy the charts, but still struggling on how to connect with other apps to have real time data.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to generate different charts quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real time neither automatic updates. Manual steps are still needed to generate the graphs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of generating reports for hours and budget. The benefit is to have the charts available and the link ready to be shared with others as needed.
integrating Qlik like analytics visualizer
What do you like best about the product?
it's a easy, flexible and complete platform, that is supporting our initiatives. the partners and directly Qlik, are very close to us. Comparing with our ERP BW, the velocity to develop is huge. And the alternatives prebuilded in the platform, is helping us to bring value to the key users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few talent in the market, so is necessary have partners to develop this projects. To evolve, will be nice if create more training material, to develp the internal skills. so in terms of the future implementations and creating a bigger internal offer, we need to create an internal knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
offering to our operational teams, the opportunity to have reports, interactions and knowledge from our data, to take decitions based on real time information. Evolving to a data driven model and developing the mindset to generate powerfull questions from the market experts. The other big change, is transfering to the business the selfservice platforms, and act in their own time frame.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate clearly the alternatives, and take your decition in terms of the roadmap the brand is creating for us like users. And the other point to take care, is the number of users that you really need and what you will buy, because you can't decrease the licenses number.
