What do you like best about the product?
The interface is much more familiar to people like me, who have programming experience in other statistical software packages but not much other programming background. I also LOVE that R and RStudio are free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I still find R to have a steep learning curve, but RStudio helps make the transition a bit easier.

Libraries should be more organized. This is not a tool for Java developer and class pathes are not so critical, but as you use more libraries they should be organized

Use of R for statistical analysis of clinical data captured through hospital systems. Very enriched algorithms is the biggest benefit
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider price carefully before you spread out from pilot to enterprise wide

RStudio is a key component of daily data analysis and visualisation

  • December 05, 2017
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
RStudio allows you to keep all your most-used R windows connected in one screen, with easy navigation. It also includes numerous customisation options for window placement, aesthetics like text/background colour scheme, and easy package download & organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really, there's not much to dislike. The lack of sync between R and Rstudio updates is annoying, but that's not really avoidable since they're two completely different pieces of software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use RStudio daily for data analysis and visualisation. It allows for increase in organisation of data and decrease in time spent on analyses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
So far my preferred GUI for implementing R software

Easy to integrate and use

  • December 01, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface it provides to work with R

Data visualization is easy with R Studio. Other ways to use R have very unintuitive and difficult to use interfaces

Can directly use the graphs and charts in my reports.

Importing the files of other users is easy. So, portability of code is definitely made easy using R studio.

It also supports and integrates multiple languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to load the environment. Takes time to process large data sets. But its still one of the best interfaces to use R.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I try to optimize the portfolios and make investment decisions. The ease of processing is the major benefit.
I generally use predictive analysis using R. Also, it helps in getting visual output for the problem at hand. Can easily use the graphs directly in my reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely a tool one should have. It can perform multiple functions for the users and help in better productivity
