RStudio for Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
It’s a powerful tool for statistical analysis with great in built packages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is not much friendly and the visualizarion is not they great in this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statistical analysis on infrastructural data to make important business decisions by seeing the trend of the historical data.

Mapeo con RStudio
What do you like best about the product?
Lo mejor a la hora de mapear con RStudio es la facilidad con la que puedes adecuar tus datos a lo que necesitas expresar. Siendo un lenguaje tan rápido de aprender, con Rstudio y sus herramientas solo debes tener claro cómo plasmar tu idea para que los otros lo entiendan, sin duda RStudio te ayudará en ello, solo hay que aprovecharlo.
What do you dislike about the product?
Un aspecto a mejorar es el diseño de los gráficos, en este caso de los mapas. Con los cambios que existen en los distintos software de este tipo, Rstuido debe fijar su norte a una mayor calidad en los gráficos que genera.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Al trabajar con estudios de mercado, necesito encontrar distintas formas de expresar las variables que uso. Por ello con un simple NPS en escala nacional tuve la oportunidad de graficarlo en un mapa geográfico el cual me ayudó a ver el comportamiento de este indicador en el país, incluyendo por Estados y Municipios.

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for statistical data analysis and visualization. A lot of very useful plugins available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the best solution available for machine learning/ predictive analytics (because of R language)

What do you like best about the product?
Rstudio está diseñado para ofrecer un entorno de desarrollo integrado. RStudio es la razón por la que elegí la programación en R. Es fácil de usar y el diseño es ideal. También me gusta que sea fácil actualizar paquetes. Lo más sobresaliente es que no solo ofrece la finalización automática del código, sino también la finalización automática de la ruta del archivo. Aunque aprender a programar en R sea algo complejos al principio, con RStudio es más fácil y merece la pena.
What do you dislike about the product?
En general, no tengo quejas sobre RStudio. Lo único que puedo mencionar es que tarda un poco en cargar el entorno. Toma tiempo procesar conjuntos de datos grandes y que podrían implementar el uso de múltiples procesadores. Aún así, sigue siendo una de las mejores interfaces para usar R.

Utilizo RStudio para análisis estadísticos complejos como modelos de ecuación estructural, análisis bayesianos y modelos jerárquicos. Fundamentalmente lo utilizo para la investigación.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ten paciencia con el lenguaje R. Es complejo y lleva su tiempo aprenderlo pero una vez que lo dominas no hay nada mejor y RStudio te da todas las las facilidades posibles para conseguirlo.

I like that it is free and user friendly. There are plenty of tutorials online.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the theme options. I don't like any of the color combinations.

I do a lot of research and data management. I love that it is free and I can make my colleagues download it. I love that there are tutorials everywhere online.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize the online tutorials! There are so many on so many different websites and even video tutorials. Google your errors.
Used R for a project
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the R community and the the ability to include libraries. The system is well documented and easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't used it a whole lot but I had trouble moving code to production. I was unsure of the best way to run an r script in production
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer retention identification. I believe at hnb we use the software to run quick analytics and create models in dev. After a model is approved it is moved into SAS. We use are to quickly analyze data and make actuonal items like for loan approvals, and accosistions.

I love the software I would recommend documenting the deployment to prod environments

What do you like best about the product?
I love how well the code works with displaying data visualization and how easy it is to install libraries. Works very well with machine learning libraries. I like how environment variables are displayed individually and how easy it is to work with the environment. Overall a good product. R in general is a relatively easy language to work with when you understand the core concepts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like how it doesn’t have the ability to connect to external databases very easily, and the databases it can connect with are limited. It also doesn’t integrate with other technology vey easily compared to some cloud providers, who can implement machine learning and deploy as a web service automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using machine learning for predictive analytics with various problems around our business. We are able to analyze the data to find patterns that may not be immediately apparent to the business side.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start off simple and work forward with it. Keep codes clean as many variables can lead to a complex environment.
