Complex for beginners, yet very powerful in the right hands
What do you like best about the product?
Rstudio provides for a large number of customizing statistical analyses. Familiarity with other coding languages makes cross-platform coding easy and accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Open source requires a ton of extra packages to be loaded and additional knowledge to be acquired. In the beginning, I found it really hard and frustrating to learn new tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Environment for solving every statistical problem imaginable as long as you know what you do. This benefits me not only in my research but also insolving private issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of the huge community on stackoverflow and github.

This is the best statistical software I've ever used, and it's easy to learn.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is relatively intuitive. I appreciate that I can run the software and see its operation by creating many windows. Additionally, autosuggest prevents me from using Google to research syntax. It is comparable to Eclipse software, thus it meets all requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
R Studio doesn't have anything I don't like about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am actively collecting cancer datasets, and R is an excellent tool for retrieving data from public archives. R contains a variety of packages. It provides several API choices for multiple databases.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this program as a powerful tool for big data analysis. It is simple to use and has several capabilities that facilitate the procedure.
A must have tool for data analysts and data scientists
What do you like best about the product?
It is open source and has a lot of community support. R language is very powerful and is specialized for data analysis and big data. That makes it a very important tool in data science feild.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up environments and working directories every time is very tiresome. Also, the syntax in R is very different from other programming languages and does not provide functionalities outside of mathematics and statistics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have made a lot of Exploratory data analysis projects for my portfolio. I also used it in my internship where I predicted Stock prices using machine learning in R.
Best R IDE
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is, it's Open Source and it has so many features packed in it. We can also save our workspace which helps a lot. It has a separate screen/tab for variable view, plot, help, workspace, directory console etc which helps to see so many things at once and is very helpful. It has many GUI tools also which are very helpful when doing some work directly on the console. Also, its complete feature is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its GUI can be made a little better, Dark mode can be introduced too. Its GUI was a little hard in the begining, so it's not new user-friendly we have to invest time to understand it. Also maybe a package manager would be good addition which is common in many IDEs now. Also, there should be an option to save console commands till now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am analyzing data in my organization using R studio and also making models on it to predict the other data. I also used it when I was learning machine learning. It is a great tool.
Best software for data analysis and data visualization with R
What do you like best about the product?
R studio is free open-source software and easy to install. It consists of very big libraries that are very useful for data analysis purposes. It provides many features such as we can save our variables in the workspace for a long time, importing variables, can execute particular lines of code without executing the whole program. It requires fewer resources and can run in old and slow hardware also.
It runs big data files in very short time.
It runs big data files in very short time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is just a user interface it can't work without R software so we need to install R separately, it would be so good if it comes with R also. R studio interface is not very simple for beginners it requires practice. Sometimes it crashes due to not proper execution between R and R studio. It takes time to open.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have done some courses which require R for machine learning for that I have used R studio. I have made some projects which require data analysis and data visualization with R.It takes very less time compared to other data analysis tools to execute big data files.
Student using RStudio for Homework and Side Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface and being able to switch around windows, see the console and the code file, and look at the datasets loaded into the environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that sometimes RStudio packages will be updated without warning, so you need to keep your packages up to date
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently using RStudio to model customers who might be fraudulent, and customers who might buy another product
Great for Data Analysis using R
What do you like best about the product?
The Easy to navigate User Interface of R Studio, It's easy to install and use it. Its best for Data Scientists as it gives you all the features a data scientist or statistician may require to do using R.
What do you dislike about the product?
User Interface can be improved a lot.
R Studio takes a time to load and becomes non-responding sometimes. Memory management can be improved here.
The learning guide can be improved to include tasks that data scientists do frequently to reduce the learning curve.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are giving it to do some data analysis tasks for our project. Also, our data scientists use it to do regression tasks and they like to use it due to its easy-to-use and interactive UI.
RStudio: A best interface for R
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user-friendly. As a beginner, it is very easy to learn and it has many different windows showing package, path set, data import simultaneously which make it easier to understand the overall picture at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
The major problem is that Rstudio doesn't work until we install R. and sometimes it may cause problems when R console and R studio clash due the different versions of any R library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are various packages in R. It provides a wide majority of API options for various databases. Right now I am collecting cancer datasets so R plays a wonderful role in that context to fetch the data from public repositories.
I am a convert to Rstudio
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way that I can step line by line through my code so I can see my data at every step along the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The language took some getting used to but once I got used to it, I have loved it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I spend 8 hours a day in Rstudio analyzing data for efficacy of my edTech software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You may have preferences for other languages but give R and RStudio a try. In my job, I am the primarily analyst and I work with others that are less familiar with software so they would be overwhelmed by Python and RStudio is a lot more user-friendly for the rest of my team.
