Works ok, could be better.
What do you like best about the product?
The layout is nicely designed, and it is fairly easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
When clicking on a person, the information it shows is not helpful. I would like to be able to see the persons ext. and email. Also, sometimes the status is green, but they are away, and sometimes the statues is yellow, but I am actively on the computer. I do not want to have to restart Rocketchat every time that happens. Also, you should be able to delete a conversation you no longer want, not just hide it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is the company's main form of communication besides email.

What do you like best about the product?
Chat editor is best, formatting of chat makes it unique, channels can be made as grouping. Attachments remains safed and even restriction can be made on file type as well file size, local server is easily configureable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Text cant be pasted with formatting, user cant make groups, audio calls/chat is not available, attached file cant be deleted by user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using as instant messaging on a group of companies.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the best about rocket chat is, It is very easy to use and also keeps/saved the chat history. Very useful for office purpose.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about this product is, sometimes it does not show the notification while receiving the message.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RocketChat is very easy to use and also very useful for inside or office purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that rocket chat is super easy to use and keeps you connected with your co-workers at all times. I also like that it integrates with Giphy so that you can always use gifs when you send a message. It also allowed me to work internationally with team members who were in completely different timezones. It allowed us to feel as though we were in the same room, which is always helpful, especially during a pandemic.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike about Rocket.Chat. Overall, I would just say that sometimes it's hard to find the exact person you're trying to contact. Maybe a more straightforward way would be to organize users or search users to save time in the long-run. Other than that, I would say that sometimes, the setup process for Rocket.Chat was a bit hard to understand in the beginning for those who are brand new to it. Having an easier setup process would be valuable and would also help save time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket.Chat makes working with teams virtually easier and it even allows you to work internationally due to its capabilities. It helped us connect with people whether or not they were in a different room or a different country. Using Rocket.Chat made it so that we could streamline our work processes without always having to jump on a conference call, which would take up too much time. During a pandemic, Rocket.Chat is going to be your best friend.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When using Rocket.Chat, make sure to determine a point person on your own team who will help new team members set up the system.
Great base for program but could use some UI work. Quickly able to adapt if you're fairly savvy.

The basis is all there; my team struggled a bit to get use to the UI and ultimately, we decided to move onto something else. We wanted to introduce this to our clients but
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall design is not super user friendly, we have some intermediate users and some basic users. The intermediate users adapted fairly quickly but the basic users struggled for weeks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket chat was a great way not to have to use email or phones to communicate internally. Response times are much quicker and easier to access and respond. Business IM was great when you were on the phone with a client or in the middle of a long winded email and needed a quick response. People on the field were also easily reached even when cell reception was too spotty for a call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a good dev team and some time, you can invest as the basis is all there.

What do you like best about the product?
I feel the best part of Rocket Chat is that it is INCREDIBLY user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't feel like there are too many downsides besides being able to pick my type of avatar for the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used other kinds of programs, such as Slack, and I found those lacking in this unique program.

What do you like best about the product?
I think Rocket.chat is super fast, convenient, secure, and easy to sign up/use. I heard that many people who work in the industries like AI, app development, computer science, banking, fintech, and startups say Rocket.chat is favorable and works the best among those communication tools including kakaotalk biz, telegram, line chat...
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find any. I like it more than telegram. But I think maybe there is a room for improvement when it comes to using gif to show various emotions, saving and organizing docs for myself, sending stickers, and so forth. Also, I don't know how to make words in bold, underlined, crossed-out, and so forth on Rocket.Chat. I don't dislike Rocket.Chat at all! It gives us so many benefits so I won't complain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have very high-security standards, so we needed to find out ways to send confidential documents. Thanks to Rocket.Chat, we can send those documents without any concern. We only use Rocket.Chat on my company's intranet, but I would say it could've been better if we used Rocket.Chat other than sending and communicating with colleagues on the intranet. I think Rocket.Chat is a decent communication tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a communication tool that can be used on your intranet, I would say Rocket.Chat will meet all your requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
I can connect my own server with it .

It get's slow sometime and incase if I have issues with my server it doesn't tell me what to do

No problems exactly, just an easier & newer way to connect
Fun Way to Collaborate
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy being able to have separate group chats at work and name them. The ability to use emojis and gifs is much appreciated. It was easy to figure out and use daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a separate platform that didn't sync with others I was using so I had to leave my other apps/platforms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps speed up employee communication, prevents unnecessary emails. Many employees have it as their preferred way to be communicated with.
A new way to stay connected!
What do you like best about the product?
Rochet.Chat brought back "aim" with a modern twist! When working on internal work tasks or planning for a friend's bridal shower, Rochet.Chat give you unlimited space to schedule, invite and chat with your peers! It's a great platform to get everyone together and brainstorm ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not any dislikes but a common technology glitch, your users might freeze/delay with responses due to their internet provider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I usually suggest restarting the server. When I've done that or suggested it to others, it works perfectly fine after
showing 211 - 220
