RocketChat - Great for Big Companies
What do you like best about the product?
The application itself is open-source, so it has a multitude of capabilities. It's also decently secure, and you can share sensitive data over it as long as the system admins and coders that set it up for you know what they are doing. It has a massive amount of addons and what-not. It's overall an excellent tool to use for teamwork. It's the best free alternative to slack and others like it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like that it does not have a built-in dark theme customizatioin; not only that, even the more trivial customizations you might want to have required at least basic knowledge of coding or something akin to that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it on a daily basis to work with the most sensitive data there is, like medical records, personnel files, private information of individuals. It allows us to create different teams who can communicate separately about their own specific niche in a private separate room/channel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a pretty decent application to use for businesses. It has many different functions and the ability to accommodate almost any needs of your particular niche in industry. But I have to say it's not the neatest and easiest to use.

It is not too heavy software and easy to use by new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Big files can create an issue in terms of speed amd working.

Communication is now easy with team using different channels and groups inside the organisation.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Rocket.Chat allows for Private messages to users, it allows me to create Private Groups or Channels. Its allows me to share media files such as images, audio and video. I like that i can send voice note via Rocket.Chat

Rocket.Chat is an awesome software as such there is nothing about it that i dislike

What do you like best about the product?
Rocket.Chat allows us to assist agents instantly without the need of the agent placing customer on hold to visit Supervisor deal for assistance. It also allows us to create groups/channel if we need to communicate to an entire department

Rocket.Chat is an awesome tool as such there is nothing that i dislike about the app. It allows us to send voice note or text via chat and also allows sharing of files
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Rocket Chat to communicate with each other accross the business. It reduces agent talk time as there is no need for agent to leave his or her desk to seek assistance

I like the fact that you can instant message anyone within your organization. You can create different channels or groups for individual departments. Rocket chat also allows you notify the entire group or channel when sending a message

There is nothing about Rocket Chat that i dislike. Rocket chat is user friendly, and i can even access it from my mobile phone
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket.Chat is used in my organization to interact with everyone as a form of instant message. Rocket chat makes it more productive as agents dont need to place customer on hold to walk to a Team Lead/Support desk for assistance

I would recommend using Rocket.Chat within your organization as it reduces Talk Time as an agent will get instant response as it relates to getting assistance from support members

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease at which it can be used; the different features about the application like the modern emoji and statuses. I like that it is easy to find other users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s is not much to dislike, however, It does delete your messages after a couple days or I believe that’s the when the person’s account gets terminated, would not be able to tell as that’s done from an internal source at work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective communication; we use it at work to send messages between our colleagues and supervisors. The app is therefore convenient in regards to that . It is also convenient because you can search for your coworker by their rightful names.

It’s a great app, i would highly recommend for ease and swift communication
My experience has been a good one, as I am able to seamlessly communicate with my co-workers.

The upside to using rocket.chat is that we are able to correspond remotely, additionally, it is super user friendly.

What I dislike about rocket chat is that there is no option to delete or unsend messages that have been sent haphazardly.

Rocket chat helps us to communicate with each other within the company more accessible, especially for a company of this magnitude. This is especially helpful during the pandemic, where a number of employees are working from home.

For those looking at rocket.chat, my advice is that you will have a pleasant experience. However, be sure the pay attention to how and what you communicate to co-workers as there will be no option to erase what was said.
RocketChat - Affordable TeamChat Alternative
What do you like best about the product?
RocketChat's offerings for its pricepoint makes is a worthy contender with more popular chat clients. RocketChat allows our teams to communicate and coordinate effectively while working remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
RocketChat does not offer the customization that more established competitors provide. RocketChat also suffers in performance when loading large conversation history (when checking for information posted days prior, for example). The User Interface is also not my favorite, but that is personal nitpicking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RocketChat provides our teams real-time communication in a remote work environment. Messaging is reliable which allows our team's efficiency to remain high even when working independently.
