Excellent OpenSource tool for all types of segments
What do you like best about the product?
Open system, being free and very complete, it brings us the freedom of various customizations, many integrations that can be made in various applications, ensuring that in addition to having complete internal communication, it also has omnichannel to perform and manage external services.
What do you dislike about the product?
It really is a fantastic tool, I have no complaints. Whenever a bug arises, the team quickly has a solution or a workaround to ensure it functions as best as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal communication among collaborators, centralizing and improving the exchange of information and also reducing the use of phones, resulting in significantly lower expenses.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Rocket Chat for being a complete solution for conversation in the company, with easy configuration of rooms and the great opportunities and solutions that can be made from it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, the fact that several addons are paid, this does not limit the user, but makes him need to look for resources in other sources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket Chat solves the company's communication problem and helps in the quick solution of several problems because it is a friendly tool where all employees can communicate and help each other.

The most beautiful thing about rocket chat is the helping nature community members and how the all projects are organized in such s great manners.

I feel like rocket chat can make mobile experience better by improvement mobile version.

Omni channel is the great feature which solves the day to day business problems.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive, open source and straight foward app.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a few bugs but the CS team is always available to solve any issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it in our research team to have every project organized by channels. It keeps things organized and it makes easy to follow up each project, at the same time that keeps the team communicated.
Open Source Communication
What do you like best about the product?
Security and the fact it's open source are my favorite factors. I like its possible to use on-premise too, and that there are many cool user cases and relatively large customers using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can say I dislike is that Rocket.Chat is still not as widely adopted as some other closed-source chats. That is only a matter of time though and does not impact in anything on the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's creating secure/compliant communication. I like I can use a platform to talk to others without freaking out about data concerns. The performance increases therefore too.
Overall a feature rich direct messaging solution
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of features at rocket.chat is almost unbeatable. The omnichannel integration and open integration of all services are also features that are missing from the competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we feel that new releases are not tested enough before they are rolled out. This isn't anything dramatic since support tries very hard to fix these issues, but sometimes bugs that were fixed years ago come up. We think that the QM process can still be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With rocket.chat we inform our employees with the webhook integration of all activities that occur in our software solutions. rocket.chat takes over the central role of communication in our organization without replacement.
It´s works really fine for corp enviroments, with the advantage to have all data on our own servers.
What do you like best about the product?
The on premises deploy metod, the possibility to audit the data logs, the features like compatibility with meetings services, like Jitsi-Meet for example or on premises cloud services like Nextcloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
The message data log is very cool but I think it needs some improvements like media logs, that are not possible to audit, like a picture or voice note for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The data protection of the company, because all the resources are delpoyed on our own infrastructure, and nothing is routing to public internet, like cloud servers.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, deliver what they promisse, the solution is stable and the deal with the commercial teams is easy

The email solution on the omnichannel feature needs improovment

We embed rocket.chat as part of our solutions, delivering chatbots with high capabilities and using rocket as one of the our best partners to human takeover
A Lot of features and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to install and use. It's easy to integrate and send messages between members.
What do you dislike about the product?
For developer New features can be harder, The documentation is poor and sometimes I found bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my Company, a could change the Whatsapp Business to Rocket.Chat + WB API and center the communication.
Overall a great experience using Rocket.Chat for nearly 3 years! Pretty awesome being an Admin!
What do you like best about the product?
Functionality, integrations, Admin panel, Livechat agent management, there's a lot to like with Rocket.Chat and there's a lot of power under the hood.
What do you dislike about the product?
Self-hosting on your own server is very doable but can be tricky at times with regards to upgrades and backups. I wish there was a tier between $0 and $7.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket.Chat is giving Slack a run for its money and that's awesome. Being open-source is awesome too. We get much better value from Rocket.Chat than say Slack.
