It´s works really fine for corp enviroments, with the advantage to have all data on our own servers.
What do you like best about the product?
The on premises deploy metod, the possibility to audit the data logs, the features like compatibility with meetings services, like Jitsi-Meet for example or on premises cloud services like Nextcloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
The message data log is very cool but I think it needs some improvements like media logs, that are not possible to audit, like a picture or voice note for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The data protection of the company, because all the resources are delpoyed on our own infrastructure, and nothing is routing to public internet, like cloud servers.

Overall a great experience using Rocket.Chat for nearly 3 years! Pretty awesome being an Admin!

Functionality, integrations, Admin panel, Livechat agent management, there's a lot to like with Rocket.Chat and there's a lot of power under the hood.
What do you dislike about the product?
Self-hosting on your own server is very doable but can be tricky at times with regards to upgrades and backups. I wish there was a tier between $0 and $7.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket.Chat is giving Slack a run for its money and that's awesome. Being open-source is awesome too. We get much better value from Rocket.Chat than say Slack.
Lite communication tool to communicate across teams
What do you like best about the product?
1. Possible to get windows notifications either by using the rocket chat app or the website.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. As it's a lite communication tool, GUI is a little basic and does not provide many options compared to other expensive tools. So overall the usage of it is limited but still efficient for specific use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Communication with different teams. Using a web or app application is possible (So it can be also launched on Mobile to get a notification when someone sends you a message).
2. BUG track when a group is created to follow the status, you can add/remove members to the group.

Scalable Group Messaging with good cost benefit
What do you like best about the product?
Rocket.Chat is a solution with outstanding performance and offers a good cost-benefit in its Saas version. The service meets all security requirements and allows many simultaneous users to send messages in different rooms. The interface is interactive and similar to other alternatives available on the market, and it is possible to access the platform on most devices. Therefore, this service meets the expectations of our team, and I believe that of most companies of all sizes.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've already had occasional errors related to notifications not being sent and the room's search engine not working correctly. However, support promptly helped us resolve such issues. Overall, we've had a good experience with Rocket.Chat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used other forms of communication within the company. However, it was necessary to centralize this exchange of information in a single system so that everyone was aware of requests and discussions of information within and between teams. For this, we chose Rocket.Chat, which brought several benefits, such as improving the flow of information and ensuring that everyone has access to the information they need to perform their tasks correctly.
Rocket.Chat Overview
What do you like best about the product?
Being the biggest open source communication platform for organizations, it is helpful for secure communication between employees, colleagues, business partners, customers and all related stakeholders without any data ownership.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks some essential points, like it can't be integrated with SharePoint, so the status update is not possible during meetings, old text is challenging to find, and some minor stability issues that can be fixed, like chats refreshing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket.Chat is a super alternative for Slack with low or no license cost, documentation is great, it's easy to use and provides a nice community to chat with all the business related people.
Handy and Diverse Communication Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Quick communication tool with a number of customisable features. The option to search specific messages in a chat, reply to messages and jump to messages is the feature I use most and like the best. When looking for solution for a query in a channel, it becomes easy if you use keywords related to your issue for searching, if the solution is already provided, you can use it. The reply feature results in less confusion and more clarity regarding an ongoing conversation. The tool is very quick, sent messages can be deleted . Sharing files and images is also a feature that widely used by our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The jump to message feature sometimes crashes the application and it stops working. There is a lag in the application if a channel is highly active and multiple users are communicating at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick conversation tool. Has channels/forums for respective categories, so it's easier to get solutions to your problem and your queries answered. You can see messages shared before you joined a channel which helps in navigating through your issue more efficiently.
An handy feature complete easy to use chat software for your company

It's open source, work flawlessly, you can host on your own infrastructure. reliable and works at it's best
