Technology that facilitates communication between departments
What do you like best about the product?
I believe that the ease of creating work groups and sending files, photos, among other relevant information from our day-to-day work. All of this helps a lot, especially because it is a hybrid modality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Particularly, I don't have a direct problem with the rocket, but I think that in the sending of photos it could be more practical, that issue of the caption applied to a photo sometimes brings me some confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
communication between teams is especially important for the life of working from home, where we need to clear up doubts frequently in a short amount of time, since we can't resolve them in person and the formality of an email is not necessary. Rocket serves me very well.
Rocket Chat is a excelent tooll to comunicate to ouro coworkers.
What do you like best about the product?
Usability and agility to send mesages. Also how easy is tô create conversation groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our organization we couldn't use It to call tô another co-worker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of comunications are solved by rocket.chat . We use a Lot to chat about our customers And proccess problems.
Capable opensource alternative to Slack
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Rocket.Chat is that it is an open source software alternative to the well-known, but proprietary communication apps like Slack and Microsoft Teams. The large community, the ability to self-host the app and fully control the data the app generates and its MIT-license make it great for business-use in privacy conscious companies or those which fall under strict privacy regulations like Europe's GDPR.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Rocket.Chat is not yet part of every web host's standard app repertoire for one-click installation, manual setup and configuration is often required. Compared to the SaaS competition from Slack and Microsoft Teams, significantly more expertise is required before things are up and running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At our company, Rocket.Chat has completely replaced Skype and Slack as the internal communication platform. Most colleagues communicate via Rocket.Chat while occasional calls are handled via VoIP where necessary. The powerful omnichannel feature allows us to route external request which arrive via email, phone, messenger app, etc. directly to our support or sales team. This not only saves time and money and enables a much more centralized organzation of our internal and external communication.

What do you like best about the product?
The support team is present and seeks to be close to the customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is limited in terms of features for managing customer service data. In addition to showing a lot of fragility regarding bugs, errors, and data discrepancies that are presented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The centers linked to Cruzeiro do Sul Virtual are customer profiles that demand immediate and synchronous service. In this regard, we made great progress by introducing a chat for service. However, due to some specific issues related to the platform, the complaints and dissatisfaction of our customers are also immediate. In a way, the support that Rocket.chat provides us is good, but it is not 100% effective, considering that the issues we raise take a long time to be resolved.
Removing free features is not good
What do you like best about the product?
Good community supported chat, enough features for companies to start with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bugs! Thousands of them! Three releases of the Electron client and screen sharing still not work.
Removing free features (LDAP, then READ MESSAGE STATUS) pushes us to migrate to another solution.
Too expensive though for the bugs found.

Rooms with roles, privileges.

What do you like best about the product?
The possibility of integrating with other services and customizing according to the demands of our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that the marketplace needs to be more popular in order to have more integration with third parties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for communication with all development and support teams, around 145 employees. We also integrate some bots for development tool automations.
The plataform is very easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It is possible to create several groups and communication channels. I think it's cool that there are several emojis that allow for more fun communication
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no negative comments, I think the platform is very complete and intuitive. Only one observation of improvement would be related to the online, busy and away status that could be maintained even if the person does not move the browser for a few minutes.

It is a stable platform that facilitates communication for companies that work from home. In addition, it allows for more efficient asynchronous communication with the client.
Uncomplicated and intuitive platform
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the interface, built to be intuitive and easy to use, and the great integration with other applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find documentation in Portuguese to clear up some doubts.

It has become a great alternative for holding study meetings, necessary for the development of my thesis.
Rocket.chat has quickly become central to our business
What do you like best about the product?
We began using Rocket.chat six months ago. In that short time frame, it has become a key tool for our volunteers to communicate with each other. In addition to the benefits of collaboration that it provides, it is also very useful for reminding our volunteers that they committed to helping someone shortly. We are finding new ways to use it all the time, and expect that it will become even more ingrained into our culture as time goes by.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have occasionally had users who were unable to log on through the mobile app. They were able to resolve their problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. That could be a problem with their device or with the app download.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a nonprofit organization, and Rocket.chat allows us to easily reach out to all of our volunteers. It also allows our volunteers to collaborate effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the high level of customization and the possibility to use it both via omnichannel and internally in the company. I think Rocket.Chat's big difference from the competitors are those two factors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes my connection does not work properly with Rocket.Chat, and frequently happens that a message that I send is only delivered some days after, also it would be really better if it were faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rocket.Chat is solving my problems related to customer service and internal communication. I have realized that I got really productive when it comes to internal communication, because I enjoy the way channels work and the feature of pinning announcements has been helping me a lot to manage my team.
