At a glance it looks intimidating, but very useful once you're used to it

What do you like best about the product?
I can customise and configure experiments with relative ease
What do you dislike about the product?
I could see how experiments are configured on an individual basis, but not so easy to see the whole picture (would be cool if I could access the overview with more ease)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have loads of abtests running concurrently, so it's useful to have a dashboard to configure them

Excellent experimentation tool

  • May 18, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is userfriendly which is missing from most of the experimentation tools out there (like split)
It has almost all the functionalities that we were looking for
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't discovered anything yet that I dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for feature management, segment management and logging user patterns

Excellent SaaS product with generous tiering

  • May 18, 2023

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Statsig for 4 months now, having migrated from LaunchDarkly and it's been critical to the adoption of more intelligent experimentation. The product offering is vast while being simple enough to use for small experiments and the analysis options are extensive. We use feature gating and experimentation at large now as a result of adopting Statsig.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation could be a little better in more advanced areas of the offering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A/B testing and experimentation. Gradual rollouts of machine learning models with statistical significance. Adopting Statsig has re-shaped how we release software.

Great Product Insight

  • May 18, 2023

What do you like best about the product?
Thre real time insights into how changes in our product our impacting our funnel. It makes it very clear when an experiment has changed a metric.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still figuring out how to filter experiments so that just sub sections of our users enter the experiement. And so that entering one experiment precludes entering another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Stastig helps me test new product offerings without committing to a full roll out. It also gives me greater confidence when making changes to critical parts of out order flow that if there is an unforseen bug we can roll something back.

Easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
The UI is intuitive and straightforward, and the documentation answered my questions. The prompts for an experiment force you (and your management) to think through what success and failure mean.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't encountered any major pain points, but there are 1 or 2 nitpicks. The "Layers" section can be challenging to locate if you don't know where it is. Initially, I expected that section to be in the sidebar next to "Feature Gates" and "Experiments."

The documentation explains how to use Statsig and comprehensively answers our questions about an initial implementation. However, I would have loved thorough API documentation for more fine-grained technical questions (what are all of the methods on this object, an explanation of what each argument on a method does, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statsig helped our team determine the specific impact of features in ways we could only estimate before. Now, we can communicate to business the value we bring with each feature.

Great extensive tooling for feature flags and experiments

  • May 17, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how feature-rich the product is. I mainly use Statsig for feature gates, experiments, and dynamic configs, making deploying easier and the code cleaner. The UI is easy to use and provides easy ways for us to manage all of our configurations. The experimentation framework is instrumental in letting us target the right users and providing insights to help make a decision afterward.
What do you dislike about the product?
While using Statsig, some features we wanted were missing regarding metrics, but the team was very responsive via Slack to answer questions and later on deliver the requested features. As the Statsig product matures, it seems like the team is quickly building out more and more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statsig has solved both the feature management and our experimentation use cases. For feature management, we have been more confident while deploying, and it has cleaned up our code and implementation quite a bit since we've used Statsig. For experimentation, Statsig has provided us with an easy and comprehensive framework to just run our experiments without worrying too much about the setup.

Everything that my startup needed for experiments and metrics

  • May 17, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Statsig provides out of the box all the important metrics a company need by just installing the SDK.
With all the metrics in one easy-to-find place, Statsig then provides all the instruments to meaningfully move those metrics through experiments, making it incredibly easy to create, analyze, and rollout
If all of that wasn't enough, Statsig provides some incredible tools like dynamic configs that make it easy for the company to move faster and focus on what matters
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little education about the metrics provided, the difference between them, and, more importantly, why they matter
If the user is an experienced product-building person then all is well but the learning curve for people new to the game is sometimes really steep
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easy to create and analyze experiments and features, this enable shipping software 10x faster, each feature can be in production from day 0 and no big bang releases are needed, each feature can then be A/B tested and the results analyzed and see the impact on important metrics

Very easy to integrate and to use

  • May 17, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The integration was super easy.
The documentation is very clear and helpful.
Defining a new flag with rules is very straightforward.
Very easy to send user custon properties.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is a very good product.
However, I found it a bit unclear how you should actually turn on/off a feature flag, whereas there are many options (launch/disable, disable a rule etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It manages my organization' feature flags. It very easy to define a feature flag that depends on certain properties. Also, it was very easy to show other users how to use it

Easy to use experimentation tool

  • May 17, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Statsig UX. Setting up experiments is straightforward. The advanced options are powerful, and we defined experiments with custom exclusion criteria and mutually exclusive tests. The results view sums up everything essential to decide the best variant to ship. The real-time debugging panel is a friendly tool for ensuring everything is set up correctly.
What do you dislike about the product?
User data takes some hours/a day to be in the summaries. This delay also affects the health checks on the experiment setup page. Getting the Stable IDs to override experiments for functional testing purposes is cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statsig allows us to run A/B experiments on our product. We use it to ensure variants are shipped evenly to the right user cohort. We also use it to understand whether a variant performs better than others.

All around positive experience using StatSig!

  • May 17, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
You can tell that StatSig is a tool built by qualified data scientists and engineers - it is intuitive, developer friendly and easy to implement. The help service is also incredible, with the support team just a slack away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the downsides of StatSig is almost that it gives too much, and is too data forward; sometimes feels that a statistics degree is needed to read a few of those charts. There are a few helpful tools to decipher but having a lite result version would be helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
StatSig is solving the ability to A/B our consumer checkout process, so that we can accurately measure, test and validate optimizations. We have just started with this program but feel that StatSig fully fulfills our needs.
