What do you like best about the product?
Support is amazing. Best in class service and support. This is leaps and bounds better than any other CDN service we've used in the past, from a technology perspective and from a support perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of. This is just a great service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted the best in class CDN for our ecommerce sites. Fastly checks all the boxes. Extensinve network of servers. Easy to use tools. Integrated well with our ecommerce platform. Nearly instant cache refreshing.
A CDN that lives up to its name: FAST!
What do you like best about the product?
At Agility CMS we use Fastly in front of our file assets and APIs. For the API we need to be able to instantly invalidate cache when data changes at the origin. Only Fastly was able to accomplish this worldwide in our tests in under 200ms consistently.
Also, as a baseline, requests to the CDN are really fast in terms of response time - usually under 100ms, often under 50ms.

What do you dislike about the product?
The language to customize Fastly is VCL, which is based on varnish. While this is incredibly powerful as a language, its not something we were comfortable with. We had to learn VCL before we could even begin to take advantage of all Fastly has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Fastly, we have a fast system that our customers can rely on to always be up-to-date with the latest content, delivered incredibly fast.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get connected to the Fastly team if you have any questions. They are incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful, especially with those tough technical problems and questions.

What do you like best about the product?
Request collapsing made a huge difference for our environment. Also, the Fastly support team is very knowledgeable, making things relatively simple to integrate.

I can't really think of any negatives, it was a positive experience overall.

Fastly Managed CDN is a really reliable to use in web content delivery. The cache replacement is very important. This is really expensive. Fastly Managed CDN configuration through UI required.

Fastly Managed CDN provides the good set of APIs for the best utilization of resources.Fastly Managed CDN optimaize the web page load. Fastly Managed CDN also improves the business process agility. CMS integration is good for boost up performance. Fastly Managed CDN log streaming is very effective and strong.

Support, ease of service creation, and most importantly data visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to re-encode a lot of video content because of incompatibility with previous cloud provider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Goals: 1. Clear, detailed global metrics on CDN caching, 2. More granular control of CDN services, both for VoD and live streaming, and 3. Expert support.

What do you like best about the product?
I like very much that it is a good caching service for my websites, the idea of hosting these pages to save the right information prevails. It has been completely possible to shake the same possibility of configuration for any type of platform you want to host in Fastly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is not the most convincing part of the software, it has a huge problem in terms of speed and quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We make our clients websites have a formidable cache integration site. We can show great performance in the final development of any platform. It really does integrate with a lot of software and we are very confident in that.

I recommend Fastly because it covers us in terms of cached information, its interface is elegant and has great potential for developers and important users. It is extremely effective.

What do you like best about the product?
Product works as intended, allows us to scale easily and have confidence that our users will be able to interact with our most popular content even in the event of application outages at the origin. Support staff are responsive and helpful. Our business is definitely more successful having used Fastly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some more advanced features are still in beta, but it's good to see the platform expanding beyond its Varnish/VCL roots.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Massive scaling, routing, some more advanced functionality delegated to the edge where it's most performant. Log streaming integrations are powerful and the attention the Terraform provider has received helps us in provisioning our services in a way that makes sense.

We've been a customer for years and it's been a fantastic relationship, highly recommend Fastly's products.

They're definitely not the cheapest product on the market and CDNs are becoming slightly commoditized. You get what you pay for, though!
