It also has a nice UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment, I enjoy all that Auth0 has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Auth0 to create an authentication and authorization system for a client. I was happy when I realized I could integrate the system into my app without having to change the database.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will recommend Auth0 to anyone who wants to add authentication and authorization to their apps. The platform is fast and can integrate with Google, Facebook, and other platforms so easily. Check it out.
Powerful Self-Service IDP Service
What do you like best about the product?
Auth0 makes it easy to setup a Single Sign On setup and offers loads of easy integration options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Enterprise management features are a bit limited. So as your needs grow to many application integrations, there is some automation work you have to sort out for yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auth0 brings us SAMLv2 and OIDC protocol support which we could seamlessly integrate with our legacy, custom backend identity system. As such, we can offer backwards compatibility to our existing integrations, while gradually onboarding new partner websites through the standardized protocols.
Easy setup for basic integration
What do you like best about the product?
The pricing plan is very friendly for startups, and the documentation has been easy for developers to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anything custom / complex is quite complicated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Low cost and highly secure login system for product development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learning curve to setup, but reliable
Good option to have secure login/sign up option with no code or very less code
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity at its best integrating auth0 is very easy. It makes developers life easy and users of the app are happier as they don't have to go through the signup process which takes developer efforts as well as it adds more steps for the user to use the app.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the UI seems cluttery as it is difficult to find something. like navigating to different tabs while the thing should be at current tab only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple and secure way to authorize users can be used as a single in option and it is easier for users to create an account which makes everybody happy.
Very easy to set-up
What do you like best about the product?
I like the most the Login Page Customization
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there is no mobile app for the user management
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Auth0 as Identity provider in my KeenBeer application. I don't have to handle with the infrastracture and different protocols implementation
Seamless integration with Auth0 to speed up build time
What do you like best about the product?
It's another item that we don't have to build
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to use the same Auth0 with multiple application with different branding
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auth service. Need no build independent service on our end
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think of your needs, and see whether Auth0 fits or not
Used Auth0 for a new auto subscription platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy to integrate, easy to switch authentication methods.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had to use multiple accounts to get satisfactory separation between dev and production environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used Auth0 for passwordless authentication for a new platform. Saved the team time to get to a quick auth solution.
Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
My team and I use Auth0 to facilitate a unified login across all our internal tools and external software. Unlike its biggest competitor, Okta, I particularly like that Auth0 provides a seamless integration to nearly every stack possible, while Okta limits you to a much more narrow stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model is a bit confusing and can take a little bit to understand. The dashboard is also a bit clumsy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our staff had different login credentials across 8+ different platforms. On top of the pre-existing learning curve of using the software, the need to log in individually to each service made it even more difficult to onboard new team members.
Very responsive, provide good documentations and API's
What do you like best about the product?
Documentation and responsivness. Ease of onboarding applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't start an Auth0 session from outside of the universal login. Low rate control on management API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Modernization and the standardizing of the autenthication/authorization flow. Contact method verification. SSO cross domains. Change password is now a more secure flow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go all in on the OIDC flows including the universal login- It will make your life easier.
The most flexible authentication as a service provider available
What do you like best about the product?
Auth0 provides quick and painless integration into almost all major identity providers. Setting up Auth0 is quick and easy to do. Auth0 rules provide a dynamic mechanism to change the functionality of the auth system. Delegated admin dashboard customization allows for multiple complex use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inflexibility in the configuration of Apple mobile metadata. Inability to specify a login session should use HTTP session cookies (instead of long lived cookies) which is a security hole when providing authentication for applications that may be used on public terminals. No programmatic mechanism to create a new tenant nor install extensions (all must be done through the Auth0 Management UI).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Migration from legacy user store to cloud based. Integration with social identity providers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Auth0 can quickly be used to provide sign on functionality to a new or existing product.
