What do you like best about the product?
When we first started onboarding patients into our new app I was dreading the login chaos. People forget passwords and they get confused with MFA. In healthcare that's extra stressful because it involves sensitive info. Auth0's hosted login page really saved us. We could customize it with our branding but still rely on their backend to keep things secure. What I appreciated most was that I didn't have to become a security engineer overnight. I could set up MFA policies, tweak password rules and monitor login attempts without digging into a black hole of code. The analytics dashboard was also eye opening. Seeing failed login spikes let us catch a weird configuration issue before it blew up.
What do you dislike about the product?
During the first month we had some headaches with the documentation. It's not that the info wasn't there but sometimes it felt like it skipped steps. I feel it assumed you already knew a chunk of the process. It's a bit frustrating when you're moving fast and just want the straightforward answer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit for me is peace of mind with compliance. In healthcare even one slip with authentication could mean a serious issue so having Auth0 manage the heavy security side is huge. Patients now log in without calling our support line every other day which is a small miracle compared to where we were. It's made user management something I don't dread dealing with.
Simple to use and solid for managing login flows!
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how quickly we could integrate social logins and email/password authentication without writing tons of custom code. Their documentation is clean and easy to follow. It saved our team a lot of time when setting up secure login and user management for multiple apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can shoot up fast as user count grows. Also, the free tier felt limited when testing more advanced use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn’t want to build our own identity and access system from scratch. Auth0 handles authentication, authorization, password reset, MFA, and user roles across multiple environments. It freed us to focus on our actual product instead of user security concerns
