What do you like best about the product?
I like that it allows you to easily document any back up for anything in an organized manner
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes is very confusing especially the alerts that it gives. They dont really make sense sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy documentation of backup files. Easy of pulling documentation.

What do you like best about the product?
OnBase provide a single location to store and retrieve documents related to the management of the company. It also provides real-time, automated workflow that allows business processes to run smoothly. Employees can search in OnBase to locate, diagnose, and solve stoppages or kinks in the operating system.
What do you dislike about the product?
OnBase requires a client application that runs on a server for some operations, meaning web access if often necessary for submitting user requests. An alternative is to install the program on the computer's hard-drive, but this requires hard-drive space and processing power that is better reserved for the OnBase server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing individuals from across the organization to generate a digital, paperless trail of documentation that tracks the flow of business processes. Reduces the need for inter-office mail. Allows individuals to find issues in the workflow independently without needing to get in touch with multiple task leaders or other employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Train all individuals who will need to use this system, as it can be difficult to learn at first.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of the program and the limitless functionality. There is always a solution and more than one way to do things in OnBase
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, absolutely nothing. The program is fantastic and the new features added each year are mostly based on input from users. How great is that!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AP document retention and workflow. Contract Management. The ease of document retrieval whether it is audit time, month end, or someone wants to see several months worth of one vendor. Time spent scanning is nowhere near the time spent looking up, pulling and refiling invoices. Not to mention, departments can do this for themselves, nice.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I looked at seven other document retention systems, the nice thing about OnBase is they do not rely on others to add to their platform. It is all OnBase by Hyland and nothing else.

What do you like best about the product?
I use this program to approve the invoices that need 3 way matching. I would say this is not a bad program but you may need to take a class or get to the guidance that they provide. The tool is not a very user-friendly tool but still it works well when you know exactly how to use it. Give it a try and you won't regret.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like I said before, this is not a very user-friendly tool since it needs a good understanding on how the program works. However, if you know exactly in which tap you need to look on for something, you will find it easy and useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since I am still a newbie on this program, I would say this is not a bad choice. I have heard that many companies rely on this program and they do not have any problems with it. I think all you need to do is just to learn how it works.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say this will be great if you know exactly how it works - like if you want to reclass vouchers, where you should click on and which blanks you should put the information in. It requires guidance at first but once you get into it, you should find it easier and enjoy working with it.

What do you like best about the product?
As I am an administrator who completes payroll for my company, it is very beneficial to have a dashboard that filters a certain employee's time for a specific date range.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are locks by other users and they are not even in that item.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tons! Invoicing/billing, simple timesheet submissions, eliminate paper, and able to search for requisitions and/or projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is easy to use and streamlines daily tasks for greater efficiency at work.

Sometimes it runs a little slow when loading high resolution images.

We are currently personalizing the functionality to fit individual team needs, and the benefits seem limitless.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Hyland in that it's fairly intuitive. It's easy to figure out the function of each button.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit slow and wonky. Could use a facelift as it looks outdated too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to process business pretty efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
Anyone in the company can see cases that have been entered that have issues with them. They can search by a number of different options to get to that case so it is easy for anyone to find quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are too many options as far as how the search functions work and it can be hard to remember exactly what information you should enter in the search fields because it can be a little vague with the search function title.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily submit requests to higher levels of customer service for them to review cases and solve issues. If another rep has the same issue come up, they can see that there has already been a request submitted for that same issue to be resolved so that there aren’t multiple requests for the same issue.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about OnBase is that it helps with eliminating paper; it provides a place to store company data all within one system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the response time, the minimal amount of feedback it gives when an error occurs, and when you submit something, it deletes the work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits are quite clear; storing data for company usage without the excessive paperwork.
