Its a torch which gives a very detailed insights to business data and processes.
What do you like best about the product?
Technical - Easy to learn, Well known SQL oriented design, drag and drop feature.
User perspective - Able to drill down to core and find hurdle, nuisances, showstoppers.

Realtime extraction is missing but Celonis team is continuously improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem solving - 1. Extracting data and building SQL queries in backend to transform SAP data into Celonis dashboard.
2. Designing dashboards, mapping SAP tables, fields and working on custom graphs and formula.
Benefit realized - 1. Layout design is easy as its just drag and drop.
2. dashboard and filters are very user friendly.
3.Comparing to SAP, one can write complex formula, KPI very easily with user of SQL and PQL.

Exceeding Customer Expectations with Automation
What do you like best about the product?
The implementation of our solution has been very successful. The initial engagement created typical challenges with the scope and expectations but once those issues were resolved, we all operated as one team. The team not only has excellent knowledge of the platform but understood and learned our processes within a short period. Within six months, we have automated about half of the steps of the initial scope. We are now moving into expanding the automation and using the analytics portion the platform to identify more business value opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our automation is very time sensitive since the data needs to be refreshed every two minutes. We have some technical issues during the initial release.
To continue to drive efficient value we need to continue in full engagement. It has been challenging to bring our internal team members up to speed on the capabilities of the platform.

Incredible Teams, Outstanding Service, Unparalleled Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I love the "from space" view it gives our business users. We have insights and visualization of data processes we have never seen before. Additionally, the team is incredibly responsive and helpful. They know their tool well and they worked incredibly well with our teams requirements regarding data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish the training interface was a little simpler. I realize there is a lot of info there, but it can be overwhelming and takes a bit of bandwidth. Otherwise, I dont have anything else to criticize!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving financial issues resulting from up-stream, hard to track, propagating data issues. We can now trace those issues to specific cases and drill down into TRUE root causes, rather then potential root causes.

The layered deep-dive approach to each process is impressive and catering to all kind of user group.

The flexibility to change should improve. PQL isn't as popular.

Schedule enough time for data validation
Start with an analysis of benefits and potentials of different use cases, afterwards make a prioritization
Communicate with the people that are included in the process and try to find out which problems they deal with in their daily busines

Great tool to focus on the process and take process management to the next level
What do you like best about the product?
A very big advantage is the process transparency that is created with Celonis in a perfect combination with the KPIs. With this combination, process knowledge is generated and process optimizations are identified. In addition the action engine brings added value which the business users can be proactively triggered to intervene in the process.
Furthermore we got the opportunity to expand and professionalize the foundation of our Center of Process Mining with the BVA engagement. With his comprehensive know-how the BVA has shown us which topics we should focus on in our company and how we can push process mining even more in order to uncover optimizations and to show success. We now have the right baseline and the right tools and methods to reach the next level with process mining

The setup phase and the establishment of the data connections take some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the first step, we implemented the Accounts Payable process and created process transparency for a better understanding of the process and to identify process inefficiencies. Currently, we are also implementing process mining into the eCommerce area, to identify optimization opportunities.

The software offers a wide range of functionalities from process analyses to actual tools at hand for process execution. Features are further developed at a rapid pace and continuously enhanced with new innovations. Consulting around the technical deployment as well as the sustainable integration in the organization can be supported by professional services teams at additional cost.
What particularly stands out, apart from the technology, is the extraordinary commitment and quality of the support provided by the Business Value Architect consultant. The applied methodology is fundamentally raising realization and measurement of success to a new and sustainable level.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a dislike, but a challenge is positioning the tool within the organization. This is where significant time and effort can be lost. However, Celonis seems to be investing in guiding customers in that matter more and more and is building up new consulting teams like the BVA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working on master data quality e.g. payment terms across business units, connection between departments in P2P and AP space, monitor and alert for compliance use cases and optimizing Finance processes in AR and AP.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Close collaboration with the business users and evaluation of ROI per use case is recommended when defining the development roadmap.
