Comprehensive monitoring and log management
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact Sumo Logic is very scalable and flexible to manage huge log data volumes. Setting it up is very easy, and it plays nicely with a ton of different services, including AWS and Kubernetes, so everything’s organized. The fact that we can create targeted dashboards and reports to track performance and security in the way that best fits the things we need to monitor has been handy. It allows us to consolidate everything in one platform and that’s saved us a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing log data used to be a huge challenge, but Sumo Logic has simplified it. It gives us real-time insights into system performance and security, which means we can address issues immediately. The ability to consolidate logs from various services into one platform has sped up the troubleshooting process. This has helped reduce system downtime and improved both security and operational efficiency across the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously managing log data had been quite a challenge, but Sumo Logic has made this task so much simpler. We get real time system performance and security insight so we can react in the moment. The fast troubleshooting process has become possible from the ability to combine the logs from different services into one platform. Overall, system downtime has been reduced, security has been increased and overall operational efficiency has improved.

The new UI is confusing and not intuitive.

What do you like best about the product?
I provides an ability to create robust dashboards which businesses generally need. So instead of having to drill down into data to find what is wrong, most of the times we can easily find stuff out right from dashboard. It saves lot of time.

What do you dislike about the product?
Number of integrations are lower compared to competitors. They need to increase the number of integrations with other systems. Even if integrations are present, many times they do not provide the expected features making them unusable. Custom development is needed at times to send data here if integrations are not present.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves time most importantly, by solving the problem of having to check multiple systems or consult with multiple teams when cross platform issues occur. We see everything in a single pane, and can have the filters set up in a very flexible manner.
Essential for proactive risk management
What do you like best about the product?
I love how the real time analysis and monitoring of Sumo Logic makes it easy to identify and act on system issues very quickly. It easily integrates with our AWS and Google Cloud services and then we can centralize all our logs and metrics in one place. The dashboards can be customized to concentrate on what matters the most and has really improved our troubleshooting efficiency and incident response time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The drawback of Sumo Logic is that with large data sets, it sometimes doesn’t update real time, so we can’t really get the real time insights that we need. The platform also has a steep learning curve for newbies regarding its advanced features, so onboarding ends up being more overlong than it ought to be. Sometimes, these factors can delay testing and create a harder time in new team members becoming comfortable with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Sumo Logic, we’re able to set up all logs and metrics on a single platform. By centralizing this, we can actually catch it faster, that means our response time is much quicker and we don’t have these operational disruptions like we used to. We have also been able to respond promptly to risks with automated alerts and detailed data analytic, transforming our daily work into a smoother and more efficient workflow.

Simplifying Cloud Monitoring with Sumo Logic with easy search.

Nothing as such, so far I had a good experiment with sumologic
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I log into the sumologic to search what data is coming our user sync set fields via client source, its great tool to highly relay on for searching our backend logs.
Friendly tool to use
What do you like best about the product?
Sumo logic platform has the ease of use for end users, it has the best implementaion for real-time analytics. It has lots of featuresrelated to dashboard, visualization, security monitoring,and lot of integrations with CI/CD tools, etc. It has the best frequency of use. And not pretty sure about the customer support as I haven't reached to them yet, it should have the best customer support as I believe.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it still needs to grab the attention of companies to spread its wings.

It gave me proper logs, dashboard/visulazation is pretty good,it has the real-time analytics,best security monitoring. Best feature to share the dashboards, alerts
Robust Monitoring Tool
What do you like best about the product?
In our organization We found the real-time monitoring resource to be very useful in tracking system performance. The customization page helps us quickly update our basic metrics and fix issues. The search function also allows us to efficiently identify the root cause of the problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although quite useful But it takes time to get familiar with some of the advanced features. A more user-friendly scope for these functions will make the data entry process easier for teams. More detailed documentation or instructions for first time users would also be helpful as it is tedious to navigate all functionalities for beginners.

Sumo Logic helps us monitor and analyze logs in real time. This is so we can quickly detect and fix system problems before they escalate. It has streamlined our incident response process by providing a clear overview of compensation calculations. and helps us troubleshoot errors more efficiently. Customizable dashboards also make it easier to track important information.
Sumo is very responsive and has excellent integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Sumo is so fast and responsive with search queries! I also love the integrations with my other systems that has pre-built dashboards and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took time to learn the query language. I was a long time Splunk admin so going from Splunk to Sumo took a bit of time to learn the language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have all systems (cloud and on-prem) logging to Sumo. The integrations with Palo Alto, Cato Networks, Recorded Future, Microsoft M365/O365, Tenable and more is so helpful because the integration apps have pre-built dashboards and reports that are already intelligent out of the box but also easily customizable so that I can create custom playbooks based on queries across multiple indexes/data sets. My speed of identifying and responding to threats/events has saved my entire team about 20 hours per week that we can apply to other areas or projects.
A great monitoring tool that is easy to use and has great training resources
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simplified the search navigation is. It allows us the ability to have some great monitoring dashboards set up by people other than developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Theres not really much that I don't dislike. Setting up the collectors is sometimes frustrating but with some playing around it all comes together. Also they seem to have avery short timeout on their site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have recently moved all of our observability away from systems like New Relic and Grafana and moved them to Sumo Logic.
The capabilities are there for logging, alerting and dashboarding which is really relevant to us.
