Interesting experience
What do you like best about the product?
Very powerful set of capabilities, definitely one the leading low code platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing of licenses, little available talent, limited performance with high throuhput apps

Opportunities for new business services, extending the offer for a software house

Easy to integrate with surroundings IT system, speed up whole SDLC, easy to train own developers
What do you like best about the product?
Integration is very easy and intuitive, it is very fast to create PoC and function demos. It is very easy to create nice UI and and integrate it with process models. Process modelling is great and each new release is improved. That is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Significantly impact of application to performance. If the developers will use not optimized code -> it is very easy to blocked whole platform for all other users.
Documentation -> in the official documentation are mentioned only really basic things -> the real usefull information you need to find in the Appian community or in the code of the more experienced developers.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation manuall process regarding approving or rejecting different business processes. We have used Appian to solve "platform" users problem with users which remains active on the Appian platform. It is always faster solved Appian platform user problems direct on the Appian platform instead to use 3rd party services or another application/platform.

Data and task driven model that closely align to most business processes

The pace of change. We love new features but keeping up with them takes effort

End to end client workflows. Allowing us to show the power of our own technology platform, through solutions built with Appian

Love using the wizards in Appian and how API integration is easily available to use to integrate other systems with Appian.

The community site could be more helpful as find it difficult to use when searching for key words

Appian has helped restore business scenarios where certain roles are required to compete their tasks that were being missed out.

Many undocumented things, like even for the certification you need a lot of inside and experience from real projects.

What I like the most is the great community and the speed of innovation and introducing new features.

Easy to use (coding), integrations with other systems/platforms made vary easily.Broad list of partners that are fully engaged and ready to help on sou challenges.

Available information regarding real-time execution are very low, when there's a production problem identifying the real issue is hard and some times it is not possible to identify.

Connecting diferent systems maintaining information integrity, creating user interfaces and using them to allow diferent applications to qwork together as if there is only one app

Appian's look and feel is modern and future looking.
The teams seek to follow up trends and keep on moving with new features. Thinking outside the box on what can be done you can feel it across the floor.

What do you dislike about the product?
Would not comment on the usage as so far has been minimum. However, would like to address that the selling points of what makes the application unique besides its features would be the services that also come with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We would like appians support to orchestrate our processes. Deliver a status dashboard, show us bottle necks. As well as, the possibility to directly connect it with our internal systems. Like that avoiding off line process steps.
Good product needs to improve cloud suport
What do you like best about the product?
Its a very flexivle development plarform. You are able to create aplications in a fast and intuitive way. The product gets significant updates at least 4 times a year.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cloud suport is often dificult to deal with. If you are adminstring a large instalation with many diferent apps it may dificult to get the necessary information to solve issues

Less time to market to deliver new applications. Better automation solutions.
Great learning and fantastic networking event
What do you like best about the product?
I was part of the partner solution cup presenting to the judges more like dragons den. Which was great. Mainly for me learning about process mining and other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike in particular. Some events are quite early in the morning which was difficult to attend if you were not staying in the hotel. Plus some healthy food options would be good.

Process automation and transformation. We leverage Appian technology accors the globe for our solutions with the clients. We have managed to reduce cost and increase process efficiency and improve controls using Appian. MVP for an automated invoice processing is in play which will come to live production shortly.
Appian in Enterprise Architecture
What do you like best about the product?
The way that Appian can support an enterprise view of a customer business problem rather than a single technology solution to one customer issue. In other words Appian can supply a framework to build a complete company wide enterprise answer
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not Appian as a platform but more new customer expectation of Appian as a business answer. Our customer assumed and expected a case management solution rather than a canvas in which you could build a case management solution. It is early understanding and expectation that confused my senior managment

Appian is helping us develop our portfolio of products to give our end customers a flexible and configurable solution to solve there business issues
