Great visualization and time saver

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to set-up with ease a variety of different key metrics for our organization has been critical to our team understanding our successes and pain points to strive for greatness.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times the customization and configurations of data sets can be complex and challenging, and the UI is already looking a bit dated, but data is king so I won't make too much of a fuss over aesthetics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're better seeing trends in our customer's journey through our product, and realizing some data we're tracking hasn't been giving us the desired outcome we expected from it. It's been great to see what our assumptions are regarding certain metrics play out to what we do or don't expect, helping us make the necessary moves to better quantify our client's value they get out of our product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're large enough to need large data sets summarized to track trends in your user base and other key indicators ($ spend per account, user engagement, etc.)

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the DOMO iPhone app best, as I am able to view my company's sales metrics wherever I have cell phone service. Additionally, the data is only a few clicks away and the graphs display the data well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it to be very difficult to create my own data cards and occasionally I find it challenging to sort data in the existing cards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business problem was that we manually created all of the company's revenue data. Upon deployment of DOMO, we were able to save data cards, the data would be automatically built on a daily basis and everyone in the company can see the reports at all times.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to ingest data from any source and via all methods, categorize the data, allow for manipulation and create dashboards - both with data and visuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is Very little to dislike about domo. It may be More robust then you need but it can work for any need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use to sort revenue and margin data related to our hundreds of websites, with dashboard Los abd sheets to keep updated on Trends.

The customer support will get you set up in no time.

What do you like best about the product?
Domo does a nice job of generating reports that help us understand trends. It provides visualizations that make presentations to clients a bit easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some security issues as their software is cloud-based. We like to keep data internal so this was a concern of some staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to model various factors in our business without having to hire a bunch of analytics staff.

What do you like best about the product?
Once your data is built, and in the system, the visualization and reporting possibilities are nearly endless. We use Domo as our primary marketing analytics dashboard and whenever my CMO requests a different view or report, rarely can I not achieve that is requested with Domo. The breadth of data integrations is also strong, but with a serious caveat.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementing Domo was very very time consuming and challenging. Domo makes use of third-parties for implementations and in many cases, they do not have the same knowledge as Domo directly. Additionally, there were several instances where Domo support provided an enhanced version of a data connector that we didn't have access it. It was like a "secret" connector you could get with more functionality if you knew the right person or said the right thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing one single view of our marketing data from Salesforce.com, Pardot, Google Adwords, Analytics, etc. Ultimately we achieved exactly what we wanted to, having instant access to all the data in once place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be wary of what integration means. While Domo can pull in data from many sources, it can be difficult to get the data to work as needed. Example: the Pardot integration is a pure data dump and required months of building data flows and ETLs to be able to do simple things like report on the number of people in a list or those who registered for a marketing event. Few people at Domo know anything about Pardot.

Additionally, integration to Google Adwords is simply a hack to Google Sheets and required multiple data flows and configurations to get function. To this day, the data is spotty and takes 3 days to update.

Interesting BI Solution But Can Do Better Esp For The Pricing

What do you like best about the product?
Executive Dashboard that once you start connecting is really amazing.

The connectors are really the selling point and a really solid piece of software. It's easy to connect even Google Analytics to SAP. Even advanced analytic with the cards is relatively simple.

I love how i can pivot the data any which way i would like. Ease of Use and Wide Range of Reports thus gets full marks.
What do you dislike about the product?
First the price point for the technology is too high. 7000 USD per month for just a handful of connectors is way way too high especially since in that price point i can probably hire a couple of people to do the job just as well.

It's a Dashboard solution and whilst it does the job well, the value one gains by the data extraction is usually less than the cost of the solution. I have yet to get any WOW! insights from the software.

There's no way to get access to the raw data sets either. No Ad-Hoc reporting.

It's also a steep learning curve despite their best intentions and support. Domo on day one is hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a marketing consultancy, we link advertising campaign management across multiple platforms (including traditional) and digital datasets e.g. Analytics & Performance based advertising to our client's internal systems from sales to related KPIs. In short marketing & business reporting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I always feel that we're usually ahead of other businesses as far as using Data is concerned in our organization. We had used Qlikview & Tableau before so perhaps the WOW! wasn't there. So with that, I would say that each organization is different and perhaps has a different viewpoint of DOMO. Give it a trial run to see how well it'll work out for you.

What do you like best about the product?
The visualization is what initially drew me to Domo and our ability to replace an old and outdated scorecard application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only two dislikes thus far: (1) a bit of functionality is lacking and we cannot replicate some reports we have in Excel (but we will get over it, not really a dislike); (2) connection to our Oracle on-prem ERP has been a bit of a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest one thus far is general transparency to the results of the Company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a good deal of planning out your company goals and objectives and use those goals and targets to define your Domo objectives.
