    Non-Profit Organization Management

Not enough integration with Freshworks / needs more flashy email features

What do you like best about the product?
I like the pipeline tracking of contacts.
I like that it's easy to import contacts.
I like creating customer journeys, and being able to create timed messages. We have a bilingual audience so it's very easy to send language-specific communications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service - Took months and months to "fix" what was essentially a bug. And ultimately the fix was to create a custom customer journey, which we could have done in the first place. To this day we aren't able to see custom fields from our sign up form in an easy way in Freshsales, it comes in as code into a "notes" field. It was so much back and forth that we just gave up trying to fix it.

Emoji's don't get parsed correctly when we create email templates - emojis are a part of our brand voice and it diminishes the quality of our messaging to not be able to use them.

Integration with Freshdesk is really disappointing. We do a lot of customer service and contacts don't always get ported over, every time we create a ticket from the Freshsales interface it never shows up in Freshworks, and we can't see the sent journey communications (either emails or texts) easily enough, so we aren't able to actually get a full history of our communication with different users.

I do not recommend using these two solutions if you are a customer-service-heavy organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a way to send customers specific communications based on the step of the journey that they're on. Also wanted to easily track when we lost customers at specific stages.

Great product with amazing support

What do you like best about the product?
It's a very versatile product, useful for new business owners looking for a tool that can be used to build a relationship with their users and understand their needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a very complicated tool to use sometimes and will require some knowledge of CRM before they can make full use of the tool. It would be great to have it a bit more accessible

Helping m,e to keep my contacts in one place and send them outreach emails including but not limited to a weekly newsletter which can be scheduled many weeks in advance

What do you like best about the product?
It is very portable, easy to use, having WhatsApp is a separate detail anyway, I also love having a mobile application. In short, there are freshsales
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is that custom modules are not included like other modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Freshsales allowed me to see various lead sources such as whatsapp, instagram, facebook forms, phone in one place with a single application.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Freshsales is its ease of use and intuitive interface. We can easily update our customer information with just a few clicks, saving us time on manual data entry. The ability to quickly organise reports gives me more insight into each deal and better visibility of overall sales performance from one system was also an important factor in choosing Freshsales over other CRM options for my business. I also find it really helpful that we're notified when someone updates or makes changes to a record - this way I'm always up to date with what's going on across the teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
If Freshsales had technology that could automatically assess problems and suggest possible solutions, it would be much more beneficial to me as a customer. It would also alleviate the frustration of having to communicate with technical support multiple times before getting the answer or solution I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Freshsales, I am able to track the progress of our sales pipeline more effectively and identify opportunities for improvement. This powerful CRM tool provides real-time insight into customer relationships so we can better anticipate their needs and quickly increase conversions.

What do you like best about the product?
Very helpful in performing and managing day-to-day sales activities. Gives complete insights that help us to optimize and improve sales performance. Easy to use and helps in filtering the leads with numerous options. So we can channelize the leads as per our requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we got the issue that on the Deals Page, we don't get the numbers. Each and every time we have to enter into the particular lead to get the contact number.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to manage the end-to-end sales cycle. Starting from getting the lead till we convert it to a closure, we use to record all the details, interactions, and quotations, in this CRM. It helps to prioritize based on the different stages, which can customize as per our requirements. Overall a great sales management tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Freshsales is a helpful CRM tool especially for tracking your business development leads. It can show multiple deals pipeline per industry. It also helps to monitor which deals our hot, warm, and cold.
What do you dislike about the product?
Freshsales is specifically designed for business development only. It does not show proper account management reports. It has limited reports option to analyze data of accounts.w

Freshsales has helped us build a better view of how to properly close our customer targets. It has helped the executives to execute the tasks in a more timely manner and all the details involved in closing the account was clear and complete on the notes section.

Very easy to use for first time users with lots of quick CRM functions

What do you like best about the product?
I liked their easy-to-use workspace where I can easily find tooltips to know what that means. Even though it's quick to set up the entire system on any platform, I have to add my mailbox like Gmail, from where it automatically adds my contact emails to the sales dashboard.

I also have good responses from their support team whenever I message or call them for help. They used to solve the issue with passion and quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Little bit costly for a small business and has lots of glitches while integrating with freshcaller and freshdesk. Sometimes reported getting overwhelmed with wrong attributes when exported in an excel sheet but support get it solved for you fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to do all my sales things on an excel sheet which was a little time-consuming but in my control, I needed a solution to replace the excel sheet with some simple easy-to-learn, and elevate things in team easily. Freshsales solved these issues and get me onboard easily with their support team help.

From now on I was using this tool even on my phone with quick report analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
In addition, it is very incredibly simple to operate because of its customization function. It has many features, and it is a bit difficult to be an expert because it has many very complicated functionalities, but it is an excellent plan for every type of business company. FreshSales is a handy programmer to plan and control our project because we can easily add all tasks, manage all types of projects, and maintain and manage our human resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t like about this software is that it does not allow us to share the file with others to establish a collaborative planning effort, and it is also missing quite a bit of feature compared to its competitors. It is good in project management implementation but cannot provide a communication channel between people because its chat windows lag a lot between communication and real-time forums, and it can take a lot of time to update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FreshSales is one of the best cloud-based project management software, and it has been beneficial for us in managing and tracking all the progress for this project. It is excellent as all the work team under my charge because it is integrated to the use, and we can be synchronized under the same objectives of the institution.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very simple to use and has all the basic functions in place that are required in a CRM. The user views are spaced neatly, and it's easy to search for any particular data about the lead without much hassle. The deals pipeline is also great for having a view of what deals are in line to be closed each month.
It helps our marketing and sales team to build customer lists and have set filter views. This enables them to reach out to prospects and customers at scale with updates, as well as track them and take necessary actions. The integration with Freshchat also helps us take website chats while working the sales deals. For eg, if someone is on the website and needs instant help, we are right there. Also we know where they are chatting from so gives us context.
For small teams that are starting out, it is a great tool to consider. The product is easy to understand and fairly intuitive for us. The entire sales team found the onboarding process and using the tool easy. Their support team is responsive and helpful too.
Not the best, but it mostly gets the job done.
What do you dislike about the product?
As more data started flowing into the CRM, we found it challenging to manage the workflows and settings without breaking things. When we make a small change to our sequence, it screws up the whole thing. There are no triggers or fail checks when we do something big to warn us about anything. And if there was anything wrong done during the initial set-up, it was almost impossible to correct it at a later stage. We write data from our website forms and multiple places to Freshsales in custom fields.
Specific flows don't work following expected behaviour as in other commonly used CRMs. Freshsales doesn't adapt to us; we will need to adapt to it. Most problems have some workaround but workarounds don't work all the time, and this can get frustrating for the admin setting up the account.
There are some issues with email deliverability too, when sending out bulk emails from Freshsales. I figured that many emails were not being delivered properly. The reporting on email opens and clicks isn't that great, and I have often found it misleading. When I wanted to pull out reports on certain types of users, I had to add a tag and then take a report because the built-in reporting didn't support that.
As our team grows and we want more advanced features in marketing or CS, we find it quite shorthanded. We need to buy other products in their suite and it's not a very integrated experience when using freshchat or freshmarketer.
Another problem with Freshsales is the speed at which they resolve bugs. We reported a bug two years ago, and they mailed us only recently, saying they fixed it. By this time, we are already considering other options like Hubspot and Salesforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Freshsales helps manage customer relations in our organisation. We are a small team having six users on Freshsales and have been using it for 3 to 4 years for marketing, sales and customer success. We are able to track the prospects, send out sequence emails and newsletters and engage with them for our business.
The core problem we are solving is tracking the prospects and leads. We write leads who visit our website into Freshsales and our sales team reaches out to them through active sales sequences and also other individual sales activities. Our marketing team puts them on a nurture sequence if they go cold.
For paid customers or potential opportunities, we track them on the deals pipeline to make sure there is good tracking and timely follow-ups as needed. At different stages of the deal, we have playbooks that tell the salespeople what to do and what to send to keep the prospects engaged.
Having moved from a fragmented process using Pipedrive, google sheets and multipe other things, Freshsales was a great starter.
The AI sales management is not that great, but that's largely because we have a lot of incorrect data from the past. Same case with the lead scoring.
