What do you like best about the product?
We use HAProxy for different use cases, from simple reverse proxy to loads balancing various applications.
It's simple and versatile configuration makes it easy to archive high availability to our and customers services.
The enterprise version also offers a management UI where clusters can be deployed using a few click.
Also the support is very helpful when it comes to debug different issues and offers helpful solutions.

There are no downsides I know of at the moment.

What do you like best about the product?
The team behind HAProxy are some of the best minds in the current Load Balancing landscape. They evolve and welcome new technologies while still squeezing improvement out of the technologies we know and love.
What do you dislike about the product?
Havent found anything so far. The Service Discovery is still new but looks great so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HAProxy is helping us reduce some operational complexity and will hopefully make things clearer going forward.

documentation and sometimes hard to find information

We needed replacement for the expensive EOL F5s

The team has really enjoyed the support, reliability and observability of HAProxy’s loadbalancing solution

We have not found a downside yet in our deployment.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the performance and the ease of use. The community help is also incredible. Working with HAProxy Technologies is always fast and streamlined.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest challenge that we have is finding the right directives to use in our configuration.

HAProxy allows to manage the traffic for our entire site.
Amazing customer support
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about HAProxy is the customer support. The enterprise slack channel helps us solve configuration issues quickly. Chad is the man.

I can’t think of any negatives about using HAProxy. It’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made.

We use HAProxy for load balancing tcp and web traffic. It also helps us provide protection to the backend servers.

Haproxy is a straight-forward, easy to configure, yet powerful load balancing platform.

The documentation is good, yet somewhat limited for certain use cases.
