Worlds fastest load balancer
What do you like best about the product?
Reliability and simplicity along with faster release cycles
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation on fusion control plane can be improved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Load balancing, service mesh, weight based routing
Cost savings moving from BIG-IP to Aloha
What do you like best about the product?
We found significant cost savings and improved support moving from F5 BIG-IP to HAProxy Aloha. We're currently looking at deploying a WAF on-premises, an option we struggled with while under contract with F5.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certificate management features are sorely lacking and the Aloha appliances do not support HAProxy Fusion, an application we would very much like to test and potentially adopt in our organization for centralized management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Significant cost savings over competing vendors as well as flexibility compared to hardware load balancing solutions. We're able to quickly deploy sites in HAProxy using either configuration language or a simple GUI for our less trained employees.
Haproxy is a great product

I like HAProxy best for its high performance, reliability, and powerful load balancing capabilities across diverse traffic patterns.
What do you dislike about the product?
HAProxy can have a steep learning curve for beginners, especially when dealing with advanced configuration options.

Routing , ssl termination, service mesh
Great open-source software, better Enterprise services
What do you like best about the product?
The core software (Community Edition) is really solid: really fast, feature-rich, low-footprint reverse proxy software, even compared to alternative software. It is backed by exhaustive documentation.
Enterprise edition adds features related to scaling and automation, making it enterprise-ready.

What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of cools features are only available in Enterprise Edition (which is fair)

Load balancer / Router HTTPS traffic across multiple machines of different apps.

What do you like best about the product?
Reliability and great team support from the HA proxy team
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much, sometimes the UI can be better and predictable for the fusion UI

What do you like best about the product?
We are using HAProxy as ingress solution in production environment and it’s responsible for routing all the micros service based and non micro services routes to respective services. In addition HAproxy helps to build our blue-green deployment using weight based routing.

We are currently in process of moving to K8s, HAProxy k8s support is limited

Primarily we are using HAProxy for load balancing and path bases routing and really helps to do the blue green deployment using weight based routing

Pretty good and reliant. Fast and steady, provides good optimizations etc

Configuration management could be better. Separate files combining into one would be nice
