HA Load balancing and the approach haproxy as k8s routing replacement

Configuration can be hard sometimes especially between different versions.

What do you like best about the product?
That it supports advanced load balancing algorithms, SSL termination, rate limiting, DDoS mitigation, and traffic routing based on various conditions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up and managing SSL certificates manually can be cumbersome compared to automated solutions like Let’s Encrypt integrations in other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps solve mostly microservice and api gateway routing allowing dynamic traffic management and service discovery integration.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use in scaling our services. We have several services that require zero downtime and this has helped with maintenance

A bit more complex first getting started with haproxy. Learning curve isn't too steep

No group management yet with Active Directory but I hear it’s in the pipeline

What do you dislike about the product?
Not that much, if anything should be mentioned it's that the tool stack have become quite large. HAProxy isn't just HAProxy any more.

It helps us balance load and control traffic flow to our different platforms.
