Long time Vertex User
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity of taxing products, reports, analysis and great they are local to us. Vertex Culture also mirrors ours at WL Gore so I feel I can connect with Vertex associates on another level. Always growing and adding new product
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes calling customer support is a struggle. Needing so much up front information to help filter through issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are implementing CUT which will help immensly.

Accurate tax determination with a user friendly approach. Good customer service.

Trouble with SIC connections with upgrades

Flexible use and user friendly for the most part.

A little overwhelming without proper training

Ease of use from ERP system to Vertex. Returning accurate information and getting accurate reports and data.
Vertex is an easy to navigate reliable tac calculation engine. Excellent Support

Using Vertex Software
What do you like best about the product?
I believe it is very user friendly. I have been working with the software for the past 16 years and currenly we are using vertex O .. we have migrated our oracle billing with vertex . This provides our tax package and is now able to report our tax with less time constraint
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not aware nor have I encounteredf any issue that would allow me to respond to this question accurately.

since our bfilling system oracle migation it has lessen the time we need to wait to receivef tax package manually.
My Thoughts on Vertex
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. The navigation is clear and simple to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support can be challenging to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have removed the need to manually update tax rates for AP and AR transactions through are Oracle Cloud ERP system; saving money, time and greatly increasing our effiencies.
Flexible tax determination system
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility that the Vertex system offers to its customers. It makes the system a little more difficult to learn, but once you get the learning under your belt, it gives you ultimate flexibility to meet your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support is the worst of any vendor that I've worked with in my career. They will review the comprehensive diagnostics file and send you on a wild goose chase from some obsure thing found in there, instead of trying to actually answer the question you submitted.
