Efficient and tim use
What do you like best about the product?
efficient and easy to use for sales\use tax

Some features are a little slow and returns we have to manually enter the information.

Efficient Tax Filing That Saves Valuable Time
What do you like best about the product?
very efficient when filing sales and use taxes. It frees up time to work on other projects
What do you dislike about the product?
unable to use the vertex returns feature it has issues with putting the correct amount of taxable purchases we manually have to get the information and enter it in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vertex is automatically pulling sales tax from invoices for us where before I had to review each invoice to decide if it was taxable or not.
Excellent Customer Service and Comprehensive Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Vertex customer support and documentation provided Community are super helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
Miss some flexibility when dealing with granularity taxation from brazil
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vertex provide all of our tax content for Brazil and does that pretty well, dealing with a lot of access we have since our website demands a lot of requests.

The updates are too large to manually review easily

Clean, Organized Interface with Easy Setup - Interface between Vertex and ERP could be faster

website is clean and organized. appears to be easy to add configuration but I am still new and learning

lag time between invoicing system appears to be unpredictable sometimes.

Industry specific categories are not as in depth for some industries.

Tax calculations and reporting have become much more straightforward. The implementation has eliminated the need for manual calculations and has helped ensure greater accuracy when reporting to the relevant jurisdictions.
Responsive Support
What do you like best about the product?
Vertex has taken a solid customer support approach. Listens to feedback and makes adjustments accordingly to support their clients needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Items listed as lower priority may take too long to receive a resolution or be allocated to "future enhancement" with lack of clarity on date of delivery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vertex is handling our tax calculation service and helping us deliver a seamless experience to our store associates and our guests.
Effortlessly Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. Customer support us very responsive.

Having to scroll to the country and state for exempting a customer instead of just being able to type it in.

Vertex is our tax decision maker. It assists with accurately calculating sales tax on our customer invoices and flagging whether tax is charged correctly on our purchases.
Friendly Support, But Needs More Tailored Solutions

Support will provide out of the box generic answers, not necessarily answered towards our configuration

We use Vertex O Series for all our tax calc needs worldwide. This makes a single contact point for all our tax calc and compliance needs.
O-Series Updates Make Reporting and Access a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting and ease of access utilizing O-Series after recent updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of. The products are great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a recent issue where a specific ship to location was used for non-plant costs, but we needed it to populate expected GST taxes for our Canadian entity. Esther with Vertex support worked with me on a couple calls to review the issue, setup a custom rule, and then we tested it.
