What do you dislike about the product?
The things which can be improved are -
1. Reading and editing the users in a segment or flag.
2. Its difficult to add users in a big segment when the users are GUID's, since the search functionality does not work properly and gives multiple suggestion in GUID's.
3. The settings and admin tabs can be made more cleaner and less chaotic.
4. Support to read segments using LDClient should be added in C# NuGet, right now only API support is provided.

Worry free launching

It is quick to turn features on and off with Launch Darkly and save us from embarrassing releases and customer churn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did like to have LD as a phone app that way I can turn flags on and off on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to release features peacefully without customer functionality interruption is huge.
As a Product Manager I recommend using LaunchDarkly.

What do you dislike about the product?
One notable limitation of LaunchDarkly is the absence of a straightforward option for administrators to monitor team utilization effectively. For instance, in scenarios where projects are organized per product, quickly identifying active services on production can be challenging.
Additionally, there have been concerns raised about the onboarding process. Some teams have reported that obtaining the required certificate can be time-consuming.
Nevertheless, LaunchDarkly addresses these challenges by enhancing the user experience through initiatives like Engineering Insights and tech talks. Teams have the opportunity to sign up for these sessions to acquire the necessary information and insights to overcome obstacles in both the platform utilization and onboarding processes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Launching new features to an informed and prepared customer base, often through programs like Early Access Programs (EAP), is a key practice. This approach mitigates risks associated with new releases by concealing changes under feature flags, allowing for seamless deactivation without the need for redeployment. Additionally, transitioning to multi-tenancy is facilitated by tools such as Tap Compare, coupled with the flexibility to assign distinct feature flag values.
Easy to use dynamic feature flag solution
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and supoport different types of values like Boolean, String, Number and even JSON. The SDKs are there to integrate in almost all the technologies. We use a lot of feature flags in different places like frontend and backend and it works seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user's (IDs) can be set in the interface. Hence our IDs are UUIDs, they are not identifiable after adding them to the feature flag. Ideally, we should be able to put a "display text" along with the IDs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do continous delivery of various features but need to control who can see/use these features. So we expose the feature for the internal users first and release it to public. LauchDarkly helps to solve this issue in each stage like exposing it to the developers first, then the internal teams and to the public at the end.
Best feature management software
What do you like best about the product?
With lauch darkly we decoupled for deployements from feature releases. This gave product fine grained control over when to release a feature. It also helped with targeting a population and running experiements. It also gives control over schduling releases. It helps co-ordinate multiple feature releases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Launch darkly UI application can be unintutive for product managers. It also needs a better visual representaion of targeting for feature flags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps in Beta testing. Experimentation. It helps Engineers for pushing through code with inceremental software delivery.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lower barrier for feature management and A/B testing
Robust and user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
PMs, QA, and engineers alike can easily navigate the UI. I also like that we can do controlled releases by percentage and easily roll back if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our mobile client continuously has problems with evaluating feature flag values which I believe is due to network connectivity. This is frustrating because the flag may be evaluated as false even though it should be true.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is able to deliver features in a controlled way with feature flags, instead of relying on aligning deployments with marketing releases.
A simple way to manage features across several environments
What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly has been a boon to dozens of teams in my space by giving us an easy way to toggle many features across a lot of enviroments and localizations. It has made testing feature implementation simple with a user-friendly GUI. We use LaunchDarkly every time we introduce something new to our project. It's been very easy to integrate with our frontend code as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personally I haven't had any issues with LaunchDarkly so far, so no need to even contact customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LaunchDarkly is helping us manage features across several environments for testing and continuous delivery.
Launch Darkly Review
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use and affectiveness. It's very easy to learn LaunchDarkly and can be easily configured on multiple environments. It doesn't matter if a feature is small or a feature is large, it is easy to create flags for either.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know if this was LaunchDarkly's fault or my organization, but initially getting access and getting a license was a bit of a process and took quite a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping deploy items before they are completely ready for deployment, because this way the items can be switched off until they have been properly tested and are ready to be used.
LaunchDarkly review
What do you like best about the product?
Easy way for non-technical users to use as a hacky CMS with long lived json flags. Super fast to toggle off feature flags if there is a bug.
What do you dislike about the product?
The licensing is expensive, so we have had to restrict those which can slow down development. There should be more tiered plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of needing copy to change on short notice. This benefits us by not needing to go through PR and redeploy just because marketing changed their mind.
