Makes managing development easier
What do you like best about the product?
It makes managing different environment setups much easier. It gives users a much easier way to manage features.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had an issue where a user has been able to make a change without permission and this has led to issues on our end. It would be nice to have a feature where someone could make a change request and it could be approved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to manage features across different environments

LD Review
What do you like best about the product?
Functionality, flexibility, ease of use & UI/UX
What do you dislike about the product?
Some recent changes to UI recently, slowness at times when updating a large flag configuration, recent outage
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to release to production behind LD flags and toggle those features on/off without engineering work. We can also throttle volume flexibly for pilot programs, found bugs, etc.
LaunchDarkly review
What do you like best about the product?
multiple useful features with easy implementation using SDKs.
What do you dislike about the product?
LaunchDarkly has the potential to set industry standards on feature flagging. Useful wikis on how to use flags will be helpful for the users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LD is helping us implement and maintain feature flags at ease.
My experience has been overall positive.
What do you like best about the product?
It's helpful being able to use the feature flags for hiding bits of code until its ready for use and being able to limit or slowly rollout the users who are able to interact with the hidden feature. It's also helpful for people that are not devs on the team as they can turn on/off features without a dev changing the codebase.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont really have any dislikes of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its allowing devs on our team to continue pushing new code into any env branch while also keeping the branch deployable at anytime. It simplifies our branching strategy and it provides a fast on/off switch for example, a feature not performing as expected without the need to go through another dev life cycle & deployment.
Excellent and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
LD has made rolling out to varying customers quick and easy while lowering the time to recover in the event of issues. It has been very easy to integrate into our services. Managing flags and segments is straight forward and they offer tons of analytics to understand the state of the flags.
What do you dislike about the product?
LD does not make it easy to support integers as strings when applying targeting rules. It's not common knowledge you have to copy a letter at the start of the list to change the type. The UI often hangs or fails when working with large amounts of targets in segments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business had an in-house feature flag system that offered On/Off support and some targeting. LaunchDarkly allows us to transition away and have smarter rollout plans through segment targeting or percent rollouts. This also decreases risk by allowing us to try new features out on customers in beta programs, etc.
I use LD flag to control and test new API behaviour
What do you like best about the product?
I have the flexibility to control multiple varations at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features have usage description in document. However the example is unclear. If LD has more example of different usage cases, it will be more helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with LD to enable new features; adjust different threshold to observe behaviour changes; disable variation to see error result thrown by API.
Too expensive but with great features
What do you like best about the product?
Granular level feature control based on properties.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too expensive. Also, User Experience is not very intuitive. There are just too many options to play around which makes it overwhelming to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing and controlled rollout of features to customers.
intutive ux and great to target specific user segments
What do you like best about the product?
intuitive user interface, making it easy for teams to create, manage, and monitor feature flags without extensive technical expertise.
target feature flags to specific user segments, allowing for gradual feature rollouts and informed decision-making based on real-time analytics.
target feature flags to specific user segments, allowing for gradual feature rollouts and informed decision-making based on real-time analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Code integration isn't seamless, and might have outages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
launching features gradually and controlling features enablement with out need for devs
Risk minimisation
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool allowing us to minimize risk with deployment to production.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new UI changes. The best UI was until 6 months ago, since then everything became less and less intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New feature rollout, risky bug fixing
Good and hasslefree experience for business
What do you like best about the product?
Easily able to add peaople to the feature flag
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to to think of any as of now...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Targetting specific customers or users for a feature deployment is what is most beneficial
