Good tool for feature flag management
What do you like best about the product?
Lauchdarkly is easy to use. It is straighforward to get onboarded. It allows us to release new features with confidence behind the flag, which derisk each release. We used Launchdarkly often for most of our feature releases that can impact the end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive for each user. We have very limited license due to the cost, and not everyone can have access to it. It gets a bit challenging to track everything when we have more and more feature flags. We have seen cases that we have production outage due to the feature flag diffs between staging and production env.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to manage feature flags and turn on/off each feature with ease. We can quickly disable the feature if any issue is detected.
It allows us to gradually release features with a stable rollout strategy.

What do you like best about the product?
Before lunch, Stockley we had an in-house solution which required making calls to a server and changing data via HTTP post calls. LaunchDarkly quickly solved this issue by making a straightforward approach to our feature flagging solution. Furthermore, they add release support and new features very frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
How disconnected the environments are I wish that there was an ace of use to set up a feature flag initially with preloaded features such as a template
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps an CI/CD pipeline and releasing directly to the client without affecting any existing work

LaunchDarkly is essential for any QA department.
What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly flags are a key part in testing and controlled role out of features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only difficulty I've experienced with LaunchDarkly is the learning curve. As someone with no coding experience navigation was difficult, but working with the program for a few days will give you the fundamentals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Certain accounts need access to a feature in production, without every user being able to interact/view the feature. Turning LD flags off/on in near instantanous, very helpful in QA testing.
LaunchDarkly: An Easy To Use Tool for Managing Feature Flags
What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly is very easy to use; the UI is very intuitive, making it easy to configure different flags for our applications. I especially like the Variations section.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a fan of how rules are set based off of order (i.e., if I'm creating a new rule for "cluster A" to set a value to true, but there was a separate rule that sets "cluster A, B, C" to false after, it would set the value to false).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LaunchDarkly helps us manage our feature flags.
Promising feature flag management with clear areas of improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Generally pretty reliable and easy enough to use for small number of flags and rules. I'm not familiar with other feature flag services but the general functionalities are enough to cover our use cases for the most part.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to "select" and copy text from rules is pretty annoying. The latest changes to the UI also seem unnecessary and actually detract from usability a bit. For instance, you can't "find and search" for an existing value of a rule as easily anymore if any sections are collapsed. Variations should also indicate if they are not in use by any rule for easy cleanup too (or have a last used date as well). I think others at the company are not impressed by the permission granularity as well - for instance inability for developers to rename or delete a flag that they're still working on without escalating to someone with higher perms, since it's been created in "prod" even if they're testing it in our development environment.
Search functionality for existing flag is a bit lacking, partial matches are not done well.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest problem LD is solving for us is how to deploy different variations to different groups.
