Best Solution for SSO Windows 7/10 Enterprise

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can integrate AD account creation and tie it to an okta group so it then creates the AD/email/okta account all under the same sso
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the variety of apps available, although it's great I would just like more
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the time it takes onboarding users to our systems, without this benefit onboarding users would be a lot more time consuming and overall waste more company resources.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using okta for solving SSO/onboarding issues. Okta really helps reduce the overall time it takes for admins to onboard users and gives the user a rather intuitive experience and giving them the illusion of control.

Great Way to Stay Organized

What do you like best about the product?
I find that this program is great to keep all my other programs together. It allows me to not have to remember a bunch of different passwords. I have access to applications with just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming. Sometimes it won't open as quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to remember all of my passwords. Being able to have access to all my important programs in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great way to keep everything in one place

What do you like best about the product?
Support is stellar, ease of use 10/10. Definitely will hold your hand if you are concerned and their documentation sets you up for success.
What do you dislike about the product?
SWA won't handle 3 field logins. I really have no other complaints at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WS-Fed to O365, SAML to ERP products, Salesforce. Remote password reset for industrial users. Single password for multiple services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Save your time and money. Ping & Centrify just can't touch the ease and stability Okta offers.

Great dashboard for work apps

What do you like best about the product?
Pulls most of your work apps together in one place and you don't have to remember your password for each and every one with single sign-on.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike...maybe the ability to add even more apps?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't have to remember our passwords (or have different ones) for each work-related app we use.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I'm able to login to nearly all the applications I used from one spot. Managing multiple unique passwords can get super tricky but this application makes it super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I am working remotely from another computer, it's not always easy to log in to certain apps. Once I'm able to get to Okta, it's fine, but sometimes I don't get there right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization uses Okta mainly for SSO.

Easy single sign on for all your work apps

What do you like best about the product?
My company uses Okta as our preferred SSO. So far, it has been a great experience. Okta makes it easy to connect all apps and just sign in once and be signed into everything at work. Additionally, the Okta phone app makes Okta phone verifications easy to use, allowing you to sign on from any computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main complaint is that Okta makes you change your password every few months and you cannot use the same password again. While I understand why this is necessary, it is annoying to come up and remember a new password all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single sign on to all business software at work. Easy to work and manage all apps at once with Okta, it has definitely worked and improved the overall experience at work, making it more seamless.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to connect all your apps through Okta, make sure you learn how to do so for a seamless experience!

What do you like best about the product?
Okta has never been intrusive, just helpful and fast. It's easy to use, has an easy to remember URL, and saves me from needing to keep a set of bookmarks, which allows me to switch from one computer to another with minimal effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to exclude suggestions to save passwords for some sites permanently, especially if I am logging in to banking or other sites that save my credit card details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta is used entirely for our SSO management inside the business. It allows secure access to the numerous web platforms that we use in a single location.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Okta works well and has added new features in a timely fashion to keep us happy as clients.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part I like about Okta is that it centralizes all of the company applications that I would use on a regular basis.

There is nothing that I can think of at this time.

What do you like best about the product?
Its a great SSO platform that is easy to implement and scale for your organization. It gives your organization the tools to empower your organization to be very effective without getting tripped up with password logins or resets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve and a certain amount of training involved to get a buy-in from the end-users. There needs to be a good rollout plan or your users will not understand that this new system is going to make their lives a lot easier. Once they get over the curve, they will also become advocates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single-sign on for dozens of SAML apps, password unlocks and resets, 2 factor authentication. Employees are reporting less login issues and have been able to work seamlessly with various app logins.

What do you like best about the product?
Okta is really easy to use from the user perspective - just click the app icon and then get launched into your application. It also support 2FA which is an absolute must these days for security. I also manage an application that is on Okta (Salesforce) which integrates with Okta very easily.

We also implemented Salesforce/Okta at my last job and it was very easy to get going- less than 1 day.
What do you dislike about the product?
From the admin side, Okta doesn't support more complex Salesforce licensing permissions without more customization. Our company hasn't been able to figure this out yet, so we create the users from Okta and assign the initial profile, but not the more detailed "Groups" and "Permission" sets".

From the user perspective, I don't have any complaints.

One negative issue I experienced a couple months ago was that Okta went down for a couple hours - users could not access applications (even though the applications were running just fine).

Note that my review is focused on Employee SSO. Customer SSO is quite different.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have users only utilize a single username/password across all application. Increase security and control over who has access to various applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Okta is one of the biggest SSO providers in the market, you will definitely want to consider them.
