Best SSO Tool in the market
What do you like best about the product?
Okta single sign has been a relief in Covid while we were all working from and the IT support was too worked up. The best thing about the product is it's so easy to set the permissions for a user. The scalability it provides is above PAR. The multiple customization options are the cherry on the cake. I recommend this tool to other organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing was getting a hang of the product at the initial stage due to the lack of information and documents available. I'd recommend to build more 'How to do' documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta adds an extra cushion of security above the already built secure environment which in turn is helping our Employees to protect personal and organizational level information.

The website is easy to use and has a clean look.

Okta Customer Identity has limited functionality for my uses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization uses Okta as a landing site to access other resources.
Okta is highly available and just works.

There are literally thousands of prebuilt integrations and custom integrations are pretty easy most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is a little laggy. Nowhere near the amazing levels of support we get from a company like Slack for instance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IAM and SSO. Adaptive MFA. Account provisioning and deprovisioning through SCIM.
Perfect Authentication & Identity Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
With the ongoing work-from-home trend, the cyber-surface area has grown many folds. Okta can cater to the needs of developers, administrators and users by providing cloud-based authentication & authorization of user identities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't noticed any glitches with either the cloud-platform or mobile-based application. It works good in background and sends notification when a security prompt is initiated to authorize acces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To cater to the needs of massive growing and dynamic list of our employees, vendors & customers, we have integrated Okta into our SaaS platform. Its self-service portal helps users with basic needs, reducing unnecessary workload on service desks.
Great tool for secure login for multple applications
What do you like best about the product?
Single click signin functionality on all the applications i use..Also i can have all applications on the okta ui instrad of rememvering or saving my applications as bookmarks, remembering different passwords

Lot of applications still unavailable which we can signin directly using okta authentication

Provisioning all applications to be stored at one place, single signin facility with extra layer of security

What do you like best about the product?
Okta is beautiful. The amount of options combined with the simplicity to set it all up is unparalleled.
There's a huge quantity of MFA providers integrated into Okta and the fact, that you can almost completely Whitelabel the platform is fantastic.
Okta FastPass is a fantastic piece of software, which makes authentication incredibly simple and I wish other IdP services offered something similar.
They've managed to make the perfect compromise between usability and security.
Every service which offers SAML or SCIM is primarily integrated with Okta.
The integration has always been very well documented and left no open questions.
It felt like following a simple step-by-step manual and always resulted in the desired state.

What do you dislike about the product?
The customer service was just non-existing. The sales hotline simply cut off the call after three minutes of waiting, the chat widget on the website never managed to connect me to an Agent.
My worst experience was trying to schedule a call with the Sales team, which confirmed an appointment only to cancel it a few hours later on the same day because the agent was on PTO.
My main reason for leaving Okta was because of the minimum contract of $ 1,500 a year, which just isn't affordable in any way for a small team starting.
I've contacted the team for the "1-year free startup program" but never received any reply to that. Later I found out, that this program is just available for VC-founded startups, which isn't mentioned anywhere on the website.

Okta was supposed to manage our internal identities for our employees and centralize both security and compliance.
We wanted to integrate our complete tooling with Single-Sign-On and automated user provisioning thanks to SCIM.
But as we weren't accepted as customers, we left Okta and went for a competitor.

What do you like best about the product?
Okta Verify is one of the secured MFA that Okta has to offer regarding their multifactor. It also has TOTP that can be used when your service does not have any internet connection
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides in using Okta is their support hotline you have to queue for a long time just to get help from their support but overall there no other downsides that I have experienced
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta provides an additional layer of security to our servers and complies with most of our clients' needs to secure their networks. It can also help with the integration of different applications that we use.

Sai, mfa features helped most. Flow and implementation is too easy to understand

Need help finding tutorials , help understanding known issues other teams are facing. Not able to find all Expreessions for claims. May be my lack of understanding. Will look for more docs to gather info

sometimes, it becomes tedious as it does not remember the saved passwords and slow authentication via Okta mobile
