Easy to understand
What do you like best about the product?
This tool has a very simple interface (they've recently updated so it's even better) and makes a lot of sense. If you try to read about Okta it may be confusing but as soon as it's implemented it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I have any issues with the tool. I am not the one who set up the applications but adding it to my tool bar in Chrome was very simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta is a centralized place for my company's applications. It's hard to onboard and remember what tool relates to what but I just have to search in okta and it's right there for me.

Great cloud based credential software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage and build custom attributes / SSO into other tools

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier to manage and better able to integrate with other software than using Windows-based LDAP solutions
Okta is quite simple and user friendly

Makes saving saving passwords easy especially since we have so many different accounts and platforms these days.
What do you dislike about the product?
It asks me to save the same password to the same platform multiple times and there ends up being duplicates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time through simple logins and saved passwords. Adds up to being a lot of time each day
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best quality of the tool is how simple it is and easy to use. I haven't tried other similar tools but find Okta quite helpful.

I like having a SSO to make logging into everything I need easier

It was a learning curve since this has been my first time using it

Ease of access to all platforms we use, simplified training which decreased training time and frustration

Give time to adjust to the new way of logging into their platforms

What do you like best about the product?
We use it for single sign on abilities, I like how it is very secure. Getting Okta set-up with other platforms for the SSO use is SO easy, takes probably a few minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Okta platform doesn't offer "apps" for all softwares. As a user, you can't just add apps you have to reach out to the person managing it to get the plug-ins set-up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to get plug ins set up for some apps. The benefits I realize is the easy of once being logged into Okta I just have to click on a button of what software I want to go into without having to log in multiple times.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The SSO is nice. If you remember to go into Okta it is much easier, but if you go through the actual software you can just put in the Okta code (generated every couple of minutes). As a user, Oktas support would be the employee who is running Okta. Plus and minus (you know the person, but adds more work for that person especially if they need to reach out to Okta for the employee).
Overall quality security program
What do you like best about the product?
Stores passwords for 1 click logins. Can organize apps and programs into categories. Can add your own apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes buggy when the 1 click login doesn't work. It acts like it logged you in but didn't. Only every so often though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Password protection, easier logins, company security with SSO/2FA.
Okta for educators
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I have access to Okta on my phone. Downloading the app and having access on my phone is so helpful when I need to speak to a parent about grades.
What do you dislike about the product?
The verification, but that has gotten way better and easier to log in when log in now it's way easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None, benefits again being able effectively communicate with parents while I'm not in front of my computer.
Great two-factor Authenticator
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, push notifications enabled makes authentication a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside is that I am required in some cases to use something other than Okta.

Two-factor authentication implementation.
Work well, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to store all your sites and passwords in it. Pretty straightforward application and it has an easy-to-use mobile app as well. Adding a site is pretty simple too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Aside from the inconvenience of having to log into something twice, there isn't much I really dislike. The only thing that would make it better is if it didn't constantly require re-signing in, and multiple authentications per day for the same application sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did not have a system in place for multi factor authentication, so this solution made sense for our firm. We now are able to meet more compliance standard and certifications.
Very convenient MFA system
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Okta can verify all of my apps within one system by rapidly challenging my cell phone. I like that I can approve the challenge directly from the home screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that with the latest iOS update, the approval from the home screen requires one more click and the "approve" button actually moves as it loads. Perhaps this is a glitch, but it starts more than halfway down the screen and as I go to click it, it moves to the top third of the home screen. Gets me every time!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are securely managing multiple applications with Okta's multi-factor authentication. It allows us to move between secure applications without extra passwords rapidly, and it will remember you for 8 hours.
