  • January 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Snpalogic has been a great tool so far for integration in our projects with much ease of use :
1. It is very easy to use and provides much better user interface.
2. Imeplemention of the pipelines for any requirement is easy to achive.
3. Snaplogic provides loads of features and has list of snaps to chose from based on your requirement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though snaplogic has loads of features to provide and implemetation ease of use, but there are certain issues which impacts in some scenarios :
1. Using long queries to fetch redshfit data , it takes loads of time and some times fails in between abruptly.
2. For long running pipelines, we most of the time get Snaplex lost connection, which needs manual restart and takes lots of time and effort.
3. Sometimes debugging the failed instances takes lots of manual debugging time and gets hard to interpret the actual issue with the snaps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snaplogic is helping us in bulding large scale and robust pipeline for ETL transformations of the data from source and applying custom data transformations. Its very helpful and beneficial in implementing large scale pipelines.

Snaplogic - A rich integration platform allow everyone to contribute

  • January 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most thing I like is the AWS snaps, REST snaps , JSON snaps using which we can do the most of the required things. Integration between APIs and setup of standard authentication flows like OAuth are very easy to setup and use. AWS services integration is very easy and smooth. Third party integration via REST become very useful in daily life and allows us to separate core product and other integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
PDF parser snap is not very useful. It doesn't parse every PDF correctly. Pipeline validation upon saving. It is not updating the output of each snap on every validation which sometimes confuse user. MongoDB snap and its account configuration is slightly typical and confusing which can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a product we have many third party system integration. With snaplogic we are able to integrate them without changing code and frequent code deployment. We are creating pipeline for their integration and gather the required data and put them in DB. This allows faster integration, frequent changes and easily managable. As a developer this allow us to maintain core product intact and manage other integrations separately.

Reusability and control have improved data integration processes with responsive support

  • January 13, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I mainly use it for data integration and some API tasks.

What is most valuable?

I find the reusability and the snaps to be very valuable features. There are quite a lot of snaps that are pre-delivered and available for use. The level of control in terms of the granularity of process control is quite good.

I also like the whole child-parent pipeline feature; it allows me to break up a process into smaller pieces and then have one big pipeline that controls these smaller pipelines.

What needs improvement?

I am quite happy with the solution and do not have specific requirements at the moment. I tend to frequently communicate with SnapLogic to ask for additional features, and they have been responsive. While new features are always welcome, I do not have anything else at the top of my mind currently.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have used the solution for three or four years.

How are customer service and support?

I would rate customer service an eight and a half out of ten.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

For me, the initial setup is simple. I have used both an on-premises solution and the platform-as-a-service option, and both are quite straightforward.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The setup cost would be four or five. There would be only one point of improvement if the price could be lower.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I considered MuleSoft and found SnapLogic to be cheaper and their offering to be a lot less complex. There is not a lot of pricing, processing, the number of things, or other complicated aspects.

What other advice do I have?

I can recommend SnapLogic to other users and the product overall. Overall product rating is nine out of ten.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Snaplogic has a robust automation and scalability. Also it provides a drag-and-drop interface that simplifies building and managing integrations. Pre built snaps makes it very easy for new users to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although SnapLogic is designed for scalability, but sometimes user face performance bottlenecks when dealing with very high data volumes or extremely complex pipelines.
Organizations with very specific customization needs, tight budgets, or advanced performance requirements might face some problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my projects, I work on data conversion side and dealing with number of objects and data. Using APIs data is loaded to cloud. Snaplogic is making the work so easy with its pre designed snaps, automations, patterns and built in funcions. Also Snaplogic documentation is on next level. A new user can easily make themselves confortable with the tool.

Achieves rapid results in data migration and has an intuitive user interface

  • December 11, 2024
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I utilize SnapLogic for data migration and data integration projects. I use it mainly as a middleware tool, working with a lot of SAP data. By transferring SAP data into more cost-effective databases, I can run analytics without the high cost associated with SAP provider analytics.

What is most valuable?

I find SnapLogic to be user-friendly, especially for beginners with limited experience in data engineering or ETL. The interface is interactive, allowing me to quickly learn how to run pipelines and achieve production-ready results swiftly. This agility translates to cost savings, especially for smaller projects and proofs of concept, as less time and effort are needed to deliver results.

What needs improvement?

SnapLogic is doing well in evolving with the AI landscape. However, if the AI capabilities and integrations were more intuitive and easy to learn for new users, it would be greatly beneficial.

Additionally, improving AI capabilities to be easily recognizable would enhance the user experience.

For how long have I used the solution?

Although my use of SnapLogic has been intermittent, I have worked with it for close to seven years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I would rate the stability of SnapLogic as nearly ten out of ten. It has shown to be robust and reliable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I rate the scalability of SnapLogic as eight out of ten. While it performs well, there is some room for improvement in this area.

How are customer service and support?

The technical support from SnapLogic is excellent, and I would give it a complete ten. They are prompt in responding to inquiries or issues, providing quick solutions.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have used DBT along with Airflow as part of our current cloud data integration.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of SnapLogic has become very easy, comfortable, and swift.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

SnapLogic is positioned at around seven or eight out of ten in terms of pricing. There are competitors offering competitive pricing in the market.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

DBT is a main competitor of SnapLogic. For enterprise-level solutions, I prefer DBT, yet for smaller internal projects, SnapLogic is more efficient.

What other advice do I have?

Overall, I would rate SnapLogic as nine out of ten. I recommend SnapLogic for other users due to its efficiency and user-friendly features. Medium and large-scale enterprises will benefit most from SnapLogic as small-scale businesses usually rely more on open-source options. I rated my overall experience with SnapLogic as nine out of ten.

Vesatile and compehensive platform with a wide range of features.

  • November 29, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One thing I like a lot about SnapLogic IIP is its comprehensive expression language, along with the possibility to use jsonpath syntax for manipulating data. Additionally I enjoy the active community where users can find solutions to most problem, and when no solution is available in the community, most of the time a SnapLogic employee or other contributer can help solve it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing really is that there are no proper "ticket" system when raising an issue to the support. In my opinion it would be good to be able to reference a ticket ID or something like that when you communicate with support or the partner manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us move large amounts of data from ERP to data warehouse in a stateless and fast way. In addition it gives us the opportunity to create reliable app to app integrations with relative ease.
