SnapLogic is a huge time saver!
What do you like best about the product?
Simple data transfers are extremely easy and quick... literally a handful of snaps and a couple specifics can load data from source to target in a few minutes!
SnapLogic continues to create more SnapPacks to extend functionality and usefulness. The simple SDK also allows development of custom snaps to further extend capabilities that are specific to your needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
More complex transformations may require significant planning and rework to ensure clean, easy-to-understand pipelines. We have also had several issues with pipeline hangs and job failures due to network timeouts during job startup and execution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SnapLogic is our enterprise ETL solution. All data transformations are moving to SnapLogic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The more you use it, the more you appreciate it. Throw out your old way of thinking about ETL... embrace the simplicity!

Amazing speed and response time
What do you like best about the product?
We used more than 20 connectors for SOAP and REST,JDBC,NOSQL and for the load having 200 request per minutes we got amazing response time and speed in production.Great experience with snaplogic!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say Support is the area which needed to improve.Need quick response time and on call support to tackle urgent issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use snaplogic for multiple B2B integrations and Data synchronization. Good experience with speed and response.
Snaplogic Review
What do you like best about the product?
The strongest point is the ease in developing pipelines, solving complex problems in a simple way, because the tool natively integrates with various source and destination tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that the tool does not receive soap requests natively, we had to develop a palliative solution together with the Snaplogic support team to solve this scenario, here in Brazil it is very common to have some legacy system that traffic data using the SOAP protocol.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Requisitions generated by Salesforce for external systems, generated financial savings because the development of a line of code would be more costly and more complex to support
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Other customers have claimed the cost of the product compared to other open source products such as Streamsets
A Severely Limited Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The some simple integrations can be built quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
- That complex integrations are made more difficult by the way Snaps interact.
- The lack of customisation available out the box.
- The dependency on a link to the cloud at all times, otherwise scheduled integrations don't run (unless you pay for ultra).
- The price of Snap Packs.
- The amount charged for their other pricing model, where you pay by number of documents processed.
- The lack of API capabilities.
- The number of workarounds often required to design a generic, reusable integration.
- The lack of dedicated IDE.
- Requiring all development to be done via web browser.
- The lack of communication during patches.
- The slow response of their service desk.
- The lack of communication from their development team when issue found with their Snaps.
- The restrictions on Snaps often leading to scripting being used instead.
- The lack of flexibility surrounding refining security policies on the platform.
- The lack of granularity surrounding assigning permissions, only allowing permissions to be set on a project basis rather than down to an integration specific level.
- How most Snap Packs merely wrap the APIs provided from a service, i.e. JIRA, yet a premium price is charged for them.
- The general lack of empowerment for developers compared to other enterprise tools.
- The lack of customisation available out the box.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Able to spin up quick, simple integrations if required.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Only use SnapLogic as a platform for simple integrations. For complex, highly critical integrations, use another enterprise platform that allows greater flexibility.

Integration platform for the next gen enterprises.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of building pipelines. Lets me build most of the typical integration scenarios very quickly. Additionally support for expression language and scripting like javascript is a super feature. Plus OOB support for most of the cloud platform is amazing, takes out most of the complexity and helps me focus more on my business logic.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a dislike but kind of feature which would me nice is the support for code reviews and cicd
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are leveraging snaplogic for integrating multiple channels to our CRM. It does all enrichment, validation, transformation. Leading us to create leads for the sale's team.
Great cloud based ETL tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use
Built in snaps for most of the enterprise applications like, Salesforce, SQL Server, Workday etc.
Ability to write script for complex logic that can not be achieved through built in snaps
Ability to create own snaps
Ability to run pipelines on multiple nodes

What do you dislike about the product?
Debugging is not easy. 50 record limit in validation many times not sufficient to validate and debug issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I integrated Salesforce, SQL Server and Smartsheet using Snaplogic. I read data from SQL Server, transform the data, apply some business logic to it and then load the data to Smartsheet.
Seamless integration between these three systems.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Snaplogic is an excellent cloud based ETL tool and has in build connectivity for most of the leading enterprise applications, making it very easy to establish integrations in no time.
A whole new experience which serves much more than an ETL tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and scalability which Snaplogic provides. Moreover, the UI is quite wonderful and its documentation is also amazing which helps a lot for anyone who just starts to work on Snaplogic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Snaplogic doesn't work that well while handling large volumes of data, and often there are performance issues. Moreover, its logs can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business benefits come from the flexibility which Snaplogic provides that allows us to achieve any possible ask from the clients, be it the ability to write scripts inside the script snap, or be it the custom snaps that we can have build for our own specific requirements.
Flexible cloud-based ETL, great connectivity, excellent support
What do you like best about the product?
It's a flexible platform with tons of connectors to external data sources - files (ftp/ftps/sftp/s3, REST, SOAP, and hundreds of specific endpoints. The expression language is based on javascript, not a strange specialized language. There's a community with resources and templates, and documentation is good. The help desk support is awesome - very helpful. There are good tools to manage and monitor activity. It's very easy to reuse logic and make modular, maintainable pipelines. There are APIs so activities can be automated (adding users, monitoring activity). They even have components (Snaplogic Metadata snap pack) to let you read/modify your snaplogic assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could add text-boxes for commenting parts of the pipeline (areas). There's a place to comment the entire pipeline, or individual computation parts, but not multiple parts. The UI is very mouse-reliant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers can quickly load data from just about anywhere without writing a line of code. We have integrated it with our product so that we can trigger a SnapLogic pipeline to import/export data seamlessly. It allows us to concentrate on our core competence while providing a complete etl solution. We have never been unable to get data transformed to/from a customer specification or location. There's fine control of user access, so we can allow people to see results of their executions, and others to create pipeline, etc. In this way, we can scale pipeline development to many.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Find a typical use case for you and ask them to create an example pipeline to do it, preferably in front of you so you can see the quickness and ease of pipeline development.
